Yeah I meant brands. But cool, thanks. Muscle Milk is crap Jon, have you ever read what is in muscle milk? Mine as well just go drink sugar. I use Jay Robb Whey protein. Mix it with coconut water, tastes like a milk shake but has zero sugar and gives you the post workout protein to carb ratio you need after a workout. Jay Robb has minimal ingredients and doesn't have all the crap they put in most Whey proteins. Most proteins are full of garbage and sugar. Look it up. Try out Jay Robb. You can get it at GNC, Vitamin Shoppe or Amazon. I usually use Gold Standard which has gotten #1 protein for how many years in a row lol. How much do you pay for yours cuz I may try it out?

But I'm looking to gain 10 pounds right now so what do you recommend for a weight gainer supplement? Test haha. Just kidding. I pay about 35 and it lasts about 2 1/2 weeks, semi expensive but worth it. If you really want to gain weight the right way you should do it through diet and eating more proteins and good fat. But are you still in college? If so it's hard to maintain a diet like that.

Everyone's favorite preworkout?

Everyone's favorite preworkout? My crossfit coach used to separate the class in two and then put a rope in the middle of the box. Then he distributed the medicine balls in both teams and the goal was to put them in the other team area, the team that lost had to pay with 15 burpees. Kinda like the BOTSeasons endurance elimination. So fun, though he only did it twice because when there's too many people it gets messy.

Alright so I'm about 6' 270. Not much muscle but I'm not huge. I'm not trying to build muscle atm so I'm not looking for supplements and protein.
I am however trying to be healthier and lose some weight. I worked out in high school but that was in like '08. Whats a good place to start?

Most gyms offer a free week trial so what I would suggest is try different ones out and see which one you like. If you don't want to go to a gym, you can run or bike outside and that'll help out. You can also just do simple exercises at home (sit-ups, jump rope, push-ups, etc).

Building off Jgrubs idea, gyms also have personal trainers and they can help you out in the beginning and then once you realize the routine, you can do it yourself.

I only weigh 170 Yeah that's pretty good for just starting lifting. I weigh about 145 right now typically your squat should be about 2x your body weight for elite athletes. You'll get there. Keep squatting haha
