Lol honestly Only 260 but I never used to squat and only been doing it for a month now so I assume that's pretty decent for only been doing it for a month? That's why I asked lol. I only weigh 170 Yeah that's pretty good for just starting lifting. I weigh about 145 right now typically your squat should be about 2x your body weight for elite athletes. You'll get there. Keep squatting haha Yea been trying too go up 10lbs a week

So I wanna go to the gym but I hate working out in front of people. Should I just say SMDRQ and do my own thing and ignore everyone else?

And rule of thumb: don't be a dumbas who tries and lifts 40+lbs more than they should just because they don't want to look weak. Do less weight with good form. You'll build muscle a lot faster with good technique

Should have specified that I'm more looking do to cardio and in any gym I've ever been in before the cardio equipment is usually to the back of the gym so it shouldn't be too big of an issue I guess

Finally made it to the gym today. Got a solid 20 minutes of cardio in just to gauge where I'm at in terms of stamina and I'll likely bump it up by 5 or so minutes every time I go

That's actually not a bad idea, never thought of that so I'll probably do that tomorrow or whenever the next time I go is

Ran a little over a mile in about 25 minutes today although I did walk for a few minutes during the course of it Not bad! The key is progress. what I like to do whenever I'm on a real track is sprint the straights, walk/jog the corners. If I'm on a treadmill I'll speed it up every once in a while, then when I hit about 0.85 I'll increase the speed to where I'm sprinting so it makes you work hard for that finish. You're doing good man!

So I'm gonna have my wisdom teeth out this friday and because of this I couldn't work out these two weeks (because I'm not paying CrossFit gym mensual fee to use half of it) plus one week of recovery This is killing me. I'm so stupid because I could work out alone but I don't like it because it's so boring haha it has to be in the gym.

What I like to do is do 2-3 types of different cardio a day that way I don't get bored and go half a** at it

I've been thinking of buying a treadmill... but I had not clue they cost $700 new haha. Looks like I'm on the search for a used one. Not spending over $300 on it...

You should be able to find a relatively cheap used one somewhere, I had bought one for like $100 a few years ago but got rid of it a while back
