What is the point of protein powder?
Can't you get your protein from your food?

Yea I use bodybuilding.com or supplement warehouse. Both have good deals.
And Brooke, just easier to consume after a workout.

The other day I was on CrossFit, about to do a rope climb and the intro from The Island started playing. Best song ever to keep going!

What is the point of protein powder? Can't you get your protein from your food? I'll use it as a meal replacement sometimes or if I need a good snack in the middle of the day. There's a ton of sugar in protein powders though so you have to spend 50+ to get a good quality powder. I don't really use powder anymore because of that.

I guess I'll share my general routine.
I do power lifting mostly, so bench, squat, and deadlift.
Monday - Squats, Warm up: 10 rep bar, 10 rep 105, 7 rep 155, 5 rep 205, 3 reps 255, 1 rep 270 or max. Working Weight go 5x5 right now i'm working at 240, usually go up a nickel each week if I finish all the sets.
After squats I'll usually do back workouts, I never do anything specifically, usually barbell rows, cable rows, etc.
Tuesday - Pause Bench Press, same type warm up just different weight, working at 3x10 at 145.
After pause bench I'll usually do sledgehammers and tire flips.
Afternoon run 3.5 miles around my neighborhood.
Wednesday - Deadlifts, same type warmup at different weights, working at 5x5 255
After deadlifts I'll do seated rope climbs, or try, I can't get all the way to the top yet. I'll modify the workout.
Thursday - Pause Squats, same warm up but lower weight, work at 3x10 at 185.
After pause squats I'll do 100 pull ups and 100 ring dips. (Usually break it up into 5 reps each set)
Friday - Bench Press, same type warm up, work at 5x5 at 190
3.5 Mile run around my neighborhood.
Saturday - Fusion style workout, usually 200 Double under jump rope, then 5 rounds of sled pulls, tire flips, farmer walks, pull ups, and goblet squats.
Sunday - Usually rest, at most do a 3.5 run around the neighborhood. Light jog.

Idk why but I can never seem to sweat when I'm working out. I bust my a** too just don't sweat. My workout partner does and always jokes that I'm not working hard lol. Any reason why? Dehydrated homie. You should be drinking so much that you have to piss 2-3 times an hour. When I go on runs and do cardio intense workouts, I'm dripping so bad it looks like i'm melting.

I just hate drinking a lot while I'm at work cuz I don't want to piss every 15 mins lol but I'll start! I need to try this workout. Now I do legs on tues and Fri, chest/tri Monday back/bi on we'd and shoulders on Thursday. For protein I usually get gold standard whey

Na, it's a fighting gym that we just kind of moved into for low cost. Ah ok cuz I was gonna say my gym doesn't have tires, sledgehammers or rope climbs lol Before we moved into the gym, we found the tires at the dump, bought the sledgehammer, and the gym had the rope. They let us bring all of it and my friend now teaches fitness classes there
