I'm pretty sure Expert will throw out the fact that Mark was never the best individual performer in a mission, like winning a life shield for example.

There's a big reason that we're all aware of, some just wont accept it because Mark was just SO old and out of shape on the Duel 2...

I'm pretty sure Expert will throw out the fact that Mark was never the best individual performer in a mission, like winning a life shield for example. Well, something around those lines. You use Mark's Battle of the Sexes performance to showcase his spot as #1, because overall he was the best player according to the scoreboard. If you look at the individual missions, he was good, but not good enough to fulfill him a spot at number one all-time. Mission 2 - Dead Man's Drop Puck, Antoine, Colin, and Eric Nies outperformed him. Mission 4 - Breath Hold Bungee Antoine and Eric Nies outperformed him. Mission 6 - Freeze Your Butt Off Theo G. and Eric Nies outperformed him. Mission 9 - Leaky River Eric Nies, Jamie, and Antoine outperformed him. Mission 10 - Stairway to Heaven Eric Nies and Jamie outperformed him. Mission 12 - Spider Mon Shane, Colin, Antoine, James, and Jamie outperformed him. Mission 13 - Human Aquarium Antoine, James, Jamie, and Shane outperformed him. Mission 14 - Razor's Edge Antoine and Jamie outperformed him. Mission 15 - Maximum Velocity Colin outperformed him. What I'm trying to say is: Eric Nies (a guy who's like 17-20 in our lists) outperformed Mark in five out of six individual missions. Antoine (a guy who's like 15 or 16 in our lists) outperformed Mark in six out of nine individual missions. Jamie (a guy who's like 10 in our lists) outperformed Mark in five out of nine missions. Technically, Mark was the fourth best individual on Battle of the Sexes. Like I said before for other challengers, if you can't be the best competitor in your "so called best season", then you can't be the be number one all-time. Mark was outperformed by three other competitors in individual missions in Battle of the Sexes, and Battle of the Sexes has always been your strongest point of why Mark is at the number one spot all-time. With that being said, Eric Nies without a doubt moves into my top fifteen.

With that criteria Antoine should be on the top 15 also.

With that criteria Antoine should be on the top 15 also. Yeah, you're right, but he's been fifteen on my list for quite a while now.

Didnt mark always basically throw a challenge to just so Eric could have his spot in a final? I may be wrong. But if I'm right a person who gives up a spot shouldn't be number one because the just shows you're not competitive

I knew you would bring up Battle of the Sexes as I've analyzed that challenge as well and realized Mark wasn't actually the strongest individual performer but rather the most consistent competitor. Battle of the Sexes stop being the strongest point for Mark being number one for me after I discovered that. Now it is his overall challenge career among other things. Mark was not a top performing competitor, but rather a consistently good competitor with superior physical strength, intelligence and leadership. He was a flawless competitor and the only mission I've ever him screw up in is in the Hook Up mission on Battle of the Exes. Mark's consistency made him perfect for a challenge with the point system of Battle of the Sexes, that's why he was in the top three on both Battle of the Sexes. That along with his impressive Duel 2 performance, good Battle of the Exes performance, and superior leadership and intelligence is what separates him for me. His Duel 2 performance is especially the benchmark for him being number one, the fact that he was second overall in performance and neck and neck with Landon throughout despite physically declining because of his older age truly showed Mark to be one of the top two all time.

Not in my book. His heyday isn't so glorious after all. He's top five, but definitely not top two all-time in my opinion.

As for Eric Nies, he's in my top 20, but not to sure about him being top fifteen because of his Battle of the Sexes 2 performance. Christian and Antoine are worthy however.

However, Eric Nies was the best individual performer on Battle of the Sexes, so I definitely think he deserves a top fifteen spot.
