So far i've seen La La Land, Arrival, Lion, and Moonlight
out of those four I think Moonlight should win best picture. It was just fantastic.
La La Land was good, but I can see it losing in most categories. Arrival was great aside from the last 10 minutes (which was incredibly rushed). Lion was very moving.. not sure what it can win in. Maybe original score. It had a really good score.
i'll get to the other five soon

I think La La Land deserves best picture solely because of how rare of a film it is and how much work goes into a production like that. Like the sets, the dancing, the singing, the music and the fact that it is like a classic musical which should have never become classic to begin with makes it super special. I think Moonlight is fantastic but (so far) I think this one just has got to go to La La Land, and even aside from my own opinion, I think this might be the most easily predictable win I have ever seen. Like La La Land is sweeping the awards I'm 90% sure of it. It's a wet dream of the Academy as a whole (glamorizes LA, two beloved actors, musical, etc.)

My predictions:
Best Actor: Who will win: Casey Affleck Who should win: I'm still giving it to Casey but wouldn't be surprised by Denzel possibly taking it home Best Actress: Who will win: Isabelle Huppbert (Elle) or Emma Stone Who Should win: Natalie Portman. Enough said. She WAS Jackie. NOTE: No Amy Adams hurts my soul Best Supporting Actor: Who Will Win: Mahershala Ali Who Should win: This is an interesting group. But I'm giving it to Ali. He was amazing in Moonlight. But for some reason I feel like Jeff Bridges could be a surprise. Seeing Michael Shannon and Lucas Hedges was a pleasant surprise. Best Supporting Actress: Who will Win: Viola Davis Who should win: Viola Davis. But Naomi Harris was everything and more in Moonlight tbh. Best Picture:I have it narrowed down to Moonlight, LaLaLand, and Manchester by the Sea. I loved all three of them. But my preference would be Manchester by the Sea. I enjoyed LaLaLand more, but Machester, and even Moonlight, moved me more. However, I feel like Manchester is losing some steam this awards season so Moonlight will probably win and I wouldn't mind if it did.

Oh.. Best Director: Would love to see Denis Villeneuve win for Arrival. Such a great director as he directed my previous faves like Sicario and Prisoners.
La La Land needs to win anything in music due to the reason I still listen to that album everyday now.
