As the tournament is nearing it's end, I want to get everybody's opinion on it (both players and viewers alike).
Obviously certain things went well in the game, while others need improvements. Overall my opinion is the game was successful for the most part, but like I just said... improvements needed.
I'd like to hear everybody's comments about the game. How did you guys like it? Were the tasks too easy, or too hard? Were the deadlines reasonable? And the major one... was it fun? I just want to get an opinion on the game so I know a little bit what you guys thought of it.
Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve it for a possible future season I would love to hear any and all suggestions you have. Maybe you want to see elimination rounds or something, so it not just the bottom team going home? Literally anything you can think of, I'd love to hear it.
Once again, thanks to everybody who played the game and to everyone who watched... I hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for the finale of Team Grandma VS Team Awesome to come hopefully sometime next week!

Great hosting job though. Obviously my criticism would be that luck should not play a factor in any task past the final five, or in my opinion, ever, unless it's a very small part of a task.
Nate approves of a season 2.

Nate approves of a season 2. One of my goals next season is to have a lot more creative tasks (by that I mean tasks like the "Order Up" task, but not having to do with reality shows). A lot of the tasks this season were pretty simple, and while it works for the most part, I'd like to have a few creative ones pop up for often. Also I really did like the Poster Task and Guide For Dummies task, so maybe some similar ones to those. |

I was a fan of the game in general, but anything luck related should be out, no question. I kind of feel the same about the creative stuff, just because some people just don't have a creative bone in their body.
My favorite task was probably the Big Brother one just because it was difficult. I like puzzles so those were great too. Anything puzzle related or logic or even strategic gets my vote. I even like the counting. Very calming just posting and listening to music.
Wish confessionals were required just because, but also wish they were team based. Like a mission message or something of the sort.
Advantages should also be more catered toward a team goal, like "add 5 points to your final score" or "pick a team to lose 1 minute off their time on the trivia," etc. Kind of forcing people to pick sides or something.
Overall good start.

Yeah I was thinking of having confessional questions that you would be forced to answer, but by the time I thought to do that we were already down to 5 teams so I figured I'd just wait until next season. Definitely enjoyed reading the confessionals of the few people that made use of them though! And advantages next season will definitely be more thought out. This season I was hoping to add one in that was a disadvantage to a different team (like you 1 minute off their time idea), but I didn't end up doing it. I also planned to have a "switch two teams" advantage very early on but I figured you guys would be pissed because then you wouldn't be in the teams you chose to be in, so I scratched that idea haha. |
