In general for movies, it's been weak. The blockbusters have been underwhelming aside from a couple. I've been most excited about the indies this summer but sadly my area doesn't get them right away. I finally saw The Way Way Back, loved it. Still waiting to see Fruitvale, The Kings of Summer and The Spectacular Now. Anyone seen of those that can shed some light or if you're as disappointing with this summers blockbusters as I was you can rant or something.

To be fair, as far as summers go, it's not super awful. Most summers the last ten years have been like this.

What the hell is the heat? It was a hysterical comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Very good in my opinion.

I didn't think the Heat was that good... Ya it was funny but definitely not the best movie of the summer... in my opinion anyways
