HoH Week 8: The Return of ZING!
ZIIIIIING! Welcome to the 8th head of household of the season, now with a little bit of Zing! For this competition I will send you a gif of a circuit board, you will have to make it from the start to the finish (the finish is the light bulb, the start is the opposite end of the path, it should be obvious). To get from the start to the finish, you will have to use the wires provided to you (you can only use each wire once). The colored wires can only go into spots where their color flashes, there is only one correct combination that will get you from start to finish so just because a color flashes in one spot does not mean it goes there, it may be needed somewhere else! In order to submit your answer, you will need to submit your color order ie the order of wires you used to get from start to finish ie red-yellow-blue etc. You must submit a correct chain in order to be eligible to win. You have 30 minutes to submit your chain. You can submit multiple chains but only your last submission will count. Whoever submits the correct chain the fastest will win HoH. Any questions? Ask them now.

Mel, as the only house guest not competing for Veto this week, leads the rest of the players into the backyard one by one to explain the rules:
Mel: For this competition, your observation skills will be put to the test. You will be shown a screen with flashing images of moments from Big Brother. You will then be asked a series of questions about the images. Your job is to answer the questions based on those images. HOH Week 9: Codebreaker
For this week’s Head of Household competition, Big Brother Production has decided to put a lock on the HOH room. In order to become this week’s Head of Household, you must be the first houseguest to crack the code to unlock the door to the HOH room. The code will be a six digit numeric code (0-9). Big Brother will allow you to guess the code until you get it right. After each guess, Big Brother will give you clues about whether you have guessed any digits correctly, and whether they are in the right spot. The houseguest to crack the code in the least number of guesses will win entry to the HOH room and be able to claim their title as this week’s Head of Household!)
*The houseguests take their turns trying to unlock the HoH room*
*David goes up to the lock and plays around with it for a little bit but quickly loses interest and goes to check the fridge*
*Ty is at it next but decides he does not want to try since he is already the princess*
*Jon grabs the lock and tries to physically remove it from the door without the combination*
*He fails, then goes and gets some alcohol and hangs out with Ty and David*
*Mel quickly and frantically starts turning the combination, she looks like she really wants to get in there*
*From process of elimination she feels like she is really close to solving the lock*
*Mel inputs the combination and goes to try and unlock the door*
*Stan quickly pushes her to the side and unlocks the door and gets into the room before her*

Week 10 HoH: Who the heck is that?
For this mission, I hope that you have been studying that memory wall! This mission will play out in five rounds. Each round I will send you a picture of a person that actually contains parts from 3 or 4 houseguests. (the first 3 rounds will contain 3, the last 2 rounds will contain 4). Once I send you the picture, you will have 5 minutes to send me the names of the three or four houseguests you think have been used to create this person. I will not tell you how many you got right or wrong, only your first answer will count! Each round you will get a point for each person you correctly name, most points after 5 rounds will win this HoH! David: "So does this suck? Of course it does. Obviously I like everyone in the game, but the main point is we are playing a game. We have to make moves that make sense. We can't let past influences come into play and with how this game has developed I need to make these nominations.

Note about the veto competition: The veto comp is scheduled as a live comp! This is like one of the only ones we've had scheduled, so hopefully we can make it work. Week 10 Veto: Gridlock
For this week’s veto competition, you have all been brought to Big Brothers Dungeon. One of you will escape the dungeon with the power of veto, while the rest of you will be tortured by the fact that you lost another comp.
In the center of the dungeon is a complex floor grid containing pentagon and diamond shapes. There are also five colored spaces, distributed evenly around the edges of the grid. In a moment, you will each take a spot on a different colored space. From there, you will take turns moving one space to an empty pentagon or diamond. You must move to an empty space when it's your turn, and you can only move to a space that has a joining edge to the space you're on, and that hasn't already been used by anyone. You may not move via a corner. After you make your move, the spot you just left can no longer be moved to by you or anyone else. As the game progresses, fewer spaces will be available, and you'll eventually run out of room. The last houseguest standing with available moves will win the power of veto.
In order to move, just post the number or letter of the space you're moving to. Pentagon shaped spaces have numbers, diamond spaced pieces have letters. Blacked out spaces cannot be used.
There are a limited number of “special spaces” that will only be activated once someone moves to them. Once someone moves to a special space, the host will inform the entire group what that means.
The host will keep track of player movements, but we highly recommend keeping track yourself. The host will periodically post an updated grid with players movements if requested.
Random.org will decide the order in which you pick your color, and that will also determine the order in which you move. Good luck! |

For this HoH, you will have to answer 8 questions about the game up until this point. These questions will ask about two events, and whether one event happened before or after another event. For example, was Duncan evicted before or after Linus? The answer to this question would be Before. I will send you all 8 questions at one time, it will be your job to send me back a list of your answers. You MUST send back the entire list with your answers within 4 MINUTES. If you fail to send in your responses within the 4 minutes, you will get a DQ for this competition. IF there is a tie, it will come down to who submitted their list in the shorter amount of time. Week 11 Veto: The Labyrinth Results
Welcome to your final veto competition of the season!
In this competition, you will be racing through a series of mazes, unlocking passages along the way to lead you to the Golden Power of Veto. In your personal Diary Room Forum, you will find a new sub-board. This sub-board contains different levels of the Big Brother Labyrinth. You will start on Level 1, and make your way to the finish line, going deeper into the labyrinth. Each sub-board is password protected, and each player has a unique set of sub-boards for this challenge.
Inside each sub-board will be a thread with a clue on how to get into the next sub-board (level). In that thread, you will find directions for you to follow in order to figure out the password to the next level of the labyrinth. You will solve the clues, figure out the passwords, and unlock each level of the labyrinth until you reach the end. The person to reach the end of the labyrinth by following the directions on all the clues in the fastest time will win the power of Veto!
*Stan is super pumped up, as usual*
Ty confessional: "Be ready for disappointment, boy, I'm winning"
*Jon nonchalantly surveys the competition, crossing his arms and puffing his chest.*
David: "I'm safe right now, and I need to keep it that way. Let's go!"
*Housemates line up in their positions, ready to enter the Labyrinth*

*All of the house guests enter Level 1 of the Labyrinth to see what is inside*
*Jon gets to Level 1 and finds the clue. He reads instructions out loud*

Enter the password into the Level 3 sub-board to continue deeper into the Labyrinth."
*Stan and Ty make quick work of the maze*
*David is carefully collecting numbers, and inputs it into the keypad to get to Level 3*

The password to Level 4 will be the cubed sum of numbers encountered along the shortest path from start to finish. Enter the password into the Level 4 sub-board to continue deeper into the Labyrinth. "

*Jon stands up, knowing what that means*
Jon: "Since Stan used the veto on himself, I have no choice but to nominate David in his place."
*David takes a seat next to Ty*
