The five Yaldad members walk into the tribal council area, set their torches at the back and sit down by the fire.
Josh (Josh), it doesn't seem like this swap was anticipated, which might have caused quite a few people to play harder than they would have if they known the merge wasn't right after. Does this carry over into the game now as well? Is the paranoia heightened?
Alex (digwoman), how important would you say original tribal lines are at this point in the game?
DER (robamber), if we are looking at tribal lines, you're clearly the odd man out as the only original Yaldad here. Does this worry you, or is the game more complex than that?
Kubson (kubson), how important is this vote off, being so close to a potential merge?
PG (PG), could challenge performances come into play for these late-pre-merge votes? Or do alliances/strategy come into play much more than who could be an immunity threat?
Votes are due in approximately 24 hours, at 11:59 PM site time 7/12. Please send in your vote through PM to myself, Nate, ALONG with a brief message about your vote (this will not be shown to anybody) by the deadline or it will be a self-vote. Three self-votes and you're out of the game. If you have a hidden immunity idol and you would like to play it, PM me before the votes are read. If I have all of the votes early, I have the right to read them early.

I think the game is more complex then that at this point. We are a tribe right now. Doesn't matter where we came from. At least that is how it is for me

It may not be important to other people but it is important to me, there's only 3 Apaio and 3 Yaldad and there's 5 Quellon, that's a huge gap. They could dominate this game without doing anything and that is dangerous for the other people who need to make new allies because our original tribemmates are running low. It's a numbers game and 5 is a pretty big number this late in the game

I'd say if this were one of the first three rounds, then yeah maybe challenge performance would come into play. But we are so late into the game where I think everybody has their little alliances figured out and they know who they want to work with. I highly doubt someone is going to be like "Oh yeah you've been my closest ally for 7 rounds now, but you sucked in that challenge so bye!!!!". Also I think everyone is sort of anticipating a merge soon... so challenge performance is a little less important.

I think that paranoia is probably at an all time high. We are so close to what we think is a merge and we're so close to jury that it makes everyone wonder. Some of us have never been on a tribe together either so that's always a factor.. There's always tons of things in the game of survivor that gets people's paranoia up.. If someone ever thinks they are 100% safe they are probably not playing the same game. Like if I had to say I felt safe I would say absolutely not.

Alright, it is time to vote. Kubson, you're up first.
Kubson stands and goes to vote, followed by the other four castaways. Once they all vote, Nate leaves and returns shortly after with the voting urn.
Before I read the votes, if anybody has a hidden immunity idol and they would like to play it, now would be the time to do so...

Another big move before we've even merged. Clearly you're all here to play the game, but with only four of you left, you better hope for some good luck, because if I see you four again, there's nowhere to hide. Grab your torches, head back to camp. Good night.
