The seven new Quellón members walk into the tribal council area and the old Yaldad members grab a torch from the back.
Ty, Linus and David, grab a torch, dip it in and get fire. This is a ritual of tribal council because in this game, fire represents your life. Once your fire is out, so are you.
They light their torches and sit down next to the other four.
Christian (xtian), thoughts on the swap? This tribe certainly seems to be interestingly matched. Do you think it'll lead to an equally as interesting vote?
Ty (Ty), do you feel like being a original Yaldad, having not gone to tribal due to Eaoltis' quit, is a disadvantage coming into this tribal with people who know their dynamics more or less?
David (DScott), do you see people sticking with their original tribal lines for this vote, or is it more complicated than that?
PG (PG), the glaring topic I have to bring up is that you're the only original Quellón on this tribe. One would probably say this is a bad position at first glance, but could it be a good thing?
Kubson (kubson), on the other hand, PG being the swing vote also puts a target on his back as someone with power. Could that be an issue as well?
Linus (radfiddler), with there being representatives from every tribe here, there's a possibility of three hidden idols present right now. Does this factor into the vote?
Juderay (coolertalk), what do you think the vote will come down to tonight? Should anyone feel safer than others?
Votes are due in approximately 36 hours, at 7 PM site time tomorrow 7/5 due to the holiday. Please send in your vote through PM to myself, Nate, ALONG with a brief message about your vote (this will not be shown to anybody) by the deadline or it will be a self-vote. Three self-votes and you're out of the game. If you have a hidden immunity idol and you would like to play it, PM me before the votes are read. If I have all of the votes early, I have the right to read them early.

The vote tonight will come down to benefit, meaning what's going to benefit me moving forward, what's going to benefit this tribe moving forward, etc.
Should anyone feel safe tonight? My answer is no. By the rules of Survivor, one is safe when they have immunity, and since we didn't win immunity, we aren't safe. Beyond that, there's a lot of different ways this vote can go, meaning any one of us could have our torches snuffed.

It is definitely more complicated, you gotta think about what is the best move going forward to keep the tribe strong. While everyone here has obviously built relationships with each other, it is crucial we don't lose again. This vote is gonna be very tough, because everyone on this tribe has shown up and performed at some points during this game.

Absolutely more! It's such a disadvantage because we never had to worry about voting someone off. We really never had to think about what we should do and who should it be. So coming into this with people who have been to tribal council is a big disadvantage because they know the on's and out's of it and know what it is like to really campaign and fight for their stay. This is my first Tribal Council and like everyone else here, hope it's our last.

So initially I was surprised it happened! I thought the tribes were evenly matched and there was room to keep going with 3 tribes. I think now I'm excited for it because now I really see where I stand in a macro sense of the game instead of just the micro sense of one tribe.
i think the vote will definitely be interesting. There's been a lot of scrambling and a lot of talk and I think the votes are going to fall on someone who isn't ready to get eliminated quite yet. But that's what happens when we are all here to play.

Being in a power is always a risk. It was pure luck for PG being the only Quellon member in a new tribe but he have to deal with this kind of power. What will be his vote? It's all up to him. If PG makes a right decision right now it will buy him allies for the future.

Honestly when I first saw the swap results I thought I was totally screwed. These people all have past relationships with one another. I was coming in as if it was day 1 again and having to work my way in. And then I started sort of realizing in a way it was old Yaldad vs old Apiao with me in the middle. At least that's what it seems like... but I wouldn't put it past any of these people to turn the script and decide that they want to take me out instead. If I go home tonight, it's not a blindside... It would seem both tribes are trying to get me on their side, but you never know what's going on behind your back.

Linus: something or other about idols.
This is a very specific question and since you have insider knowledge I am now going to assume 3 idols are in play at this camp.

Alright, it is time to vote. Linus, you're up first.
Linus stands and goes to vote, followed by the other six castaways. Once they return, Nate leaves and returns shortly with the voting urn.
Before I read the votes, if anybody has a hidden immunity idol and they would like to play it, now would be the time to do so...

You will have another shot in this game. Until then, Inferno Island awaits.
Ty nods and exits the tribal council area.

Well it looks as if this was a battle between tribes and one came out on top. But that's all it was, a battle, and this game is a war that's nowhere near over. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.
