Don't know how credibile these are, but these spoilers have just been announced on Twitter by @bb18_spoilers.

28 players (14 veterans, 14 rookies) will move into the house. They will be told that 1st impressions are everything.
After some amount of time (likely an hour, details haven't been revealed) there will be a trivia based competition called "Fight Your Life" in which the returning players will compete in. Most likely a trivia based game based on Big Brother history.
Once they reach a milestone in the competition (say 3 correct answers for example) they will then earn a spot in the game, and will also select one of the new players they want to have enter the game as well. This will continue until 8 returning players and 8 newbies have earned their spot. 16 houseguests will be competing this summer.
There will be another "Fight for Your Life" competition sometime in the season. Don't know when/what it will determine.
Nobody who has won the game before will be in the potential cast. There were also be no 2-time or 3-time returning houseguests (meaning no Rachel, Danielle, Janelle, Boogie, etc)
In the initial pool of veterans are:
- John McGuire (BB17)
- Brian Hart (BB10)
- two houseguests from BB12 (a juror and pre-juror).
- two houseguests from BB14 (both jurors)
- one houseguest from each of BB3, BB5, BB6, BB10, and BB11
- amount of BB16 returnees are unknown, but Frankie is not included
- amount of BB17 returnees are unknown, but Vanessa is not included
- amount of BB15 returnees are unknown
- no representatives from BB13
