*A helicopter is heard as 20 competitors once again stand in the middle of a large arena as they stare up in the sky. It lands 50 yards away and Brooke steps out with her hair blowing from the wind of the helicopter*
Briqsquad Confessional: “I don’t even know how I’m going to compete, let alone keep my eyes off Brooke the entire time I’m here.”
*Everyone claps as Brooke gets closer to the group, she’s still wearing heels*
Kaitlyn Confessional: “It’s really great to have Brooke back as our host. She brings a whole lot more fun into the Challenge. I’m also really glad to not see Nate.......or Jon......or Expert, or any of those guys really." *shrugs*
Brooke: “Welcome everyone to New Zealand, you’re in for a wonderful treat.” *everybody cheers and claps* My name is Brooke and I’ll be your host for this season of the Ultimate Challenge: Battlegrounds 2. You may remember be from UC4-UC7, where I competed and hosted previously. I may look small, but I won’t take any sh*t from any of you. Mark my words! First rule, please behave. *glares at Don and Jonas* And most of all, please don’t quit. If there is anyone here that wants to quit, please do so now before we even start. Because this is a competition and some people have a competitive spirit and actually want to be here.”
Stan Confessional: “I’m here to win. If there’s anyone here that’s not here to win, then they need to get their a** back on a plane home. It’s that simple.”
Vova Confessional: "I'm ready to win. I'm ready to win now."

Dscott Confessional: “I’m new, but I’m here to prove that us rookies have just as much heart as any of the vets.”
Brooke: “Enough about me, let’s get on to the rules. Here’s how it’s going to work: Every mission there are going to be two winners, these will be determined by who performs the best for that mission in regards to that mission’s rules. Then those two winners are going to get together and decide on one person to save from going into elimination (if they cannot agree, it will be them). And then that one person is going to pick another person. This will continue until there are only two people left standing (Will be referred to as Chain Voting). These two people will automatically be going into the War Zone. This will take place in the Discord Chain Voting thread. If you post there when you aren’t allowed to, you’ll automatically be DQ’d from the next mission (SO PLEASE ONLY POST WHEN IT’S YOUR TURN).
Don Confessional: “Okay dis lit fam. I’m ready to vote now tbh.”
Jonas Confessional: “I couldn’t have asked for better rules.”
HERE’S HOW CHAIN VOTING WILL WORK ON THE FORUM:
After each mission the Chain Voting will take place. The Chain Voting will take place live over the course of 24 hours in the Discord. If after 24 hours someone hasn’t posted their vote in the Chain voting process, they will be the one going in and I'll ask the previous person to select again. Once your vote has been cast, you cannot change or edit it.
Brooke: “Now here’s the catch. The two people that are not chosen in the voting can pick any player, beside that day’s mission winners, that they want to face in the War Zone. The elimination will then decide on who stays here in beautiful New Zealand, and who is sent packing. These eliminations will be chosen at random once we know who is going in to the elimination. Most of the eliminations are live, while one or two are not. They will never go over 30 minutes, unless rules are not understood, etc. or you just don’t have the Challenge Knowledge you thought you did.”
James Confessional: “I may not know anything about the Challenge, but I’m still here to mess things up” *wink*
*some faces are shocked, while others show a smug look*
Brooke: “On the way you may team up and work with others here and there, but make no mistake about it, you are in this game alone. Only ONE will come out on top.”
MONTAGE
*Screen Fades to Black*
*Jamie in her green, mud-covered jersey runs through a pit of mud and leaps over a log, ripping her jersey in the process*
*Td laughs to himself in the confessional as we hear someone banging on the door to let them in*
*Brooke screams into a walkie talkie that they need an ambulance with tears forming in her eyes*
*Belen swims in the ocean with ease*

*Ricardo tosses puzzles pieces to the ground and begins to put them together furiously*
*Cole is seen talking to Vova as Joey listens at the closed door and mimics to the camera to shhhh*
*Dscott gives a wink to Kaitlyn and a small wave from across the room*
*Alice climbs up a rope and struggles to stay on as she starts to slide down*
*Jacob passes another Challenger during a mission and doesn't look back*

*Luke digs through the sand and pulls up a locked box from the ground, while Josh is still digging next to him*
*Jonas carries a 50-pound bag on his back through a maze as he shouts incoherently*
*The back of someone’s head is show as Kaitlyn makes out with them*
*James punches a wall as the camera closes in on his knuckles and then his red face*
*Don sits on the couch looking smug as a fight ensues around him*
*Daquan is blindfolded and feeling his way around in the semi-dark*
*Kaitlyn, with mascara running down her face, yells at Stan with Jamie holding her back*
*Jacob Confessional: “This is going to be very brutal.”*
*Brooke says, “And the winner of UCXI: Battlegrounds 2 is…*
*Screen fades to black*
END MONTAGE
Brooke: “There will be 10 missions and a final, with a total of 11 episodes. Now there’s going to be four players at the end, where the final FOUR of you will be competing in one epic challenge, where the winner will win the bragging rights and claim the grand prize.
SIDENOTE: This could change at any point into a Final 6 because I like to keep you guys guessing.
Brooke: “Now that you know the format and rules of the game, if there are any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Just don’t disturb me when I’m sleeping or busy. Now go enjoy your house. AND, GOOD NEWS, it’s not haunted! There’s a pool, a hot tub, and even a small gym. Blah, blah, blah. Enjoy. And don’t forget to introduce yourself and get to know your competition!”
