So I may or may not have started this a long long long time ago before going a few months MIA. Just found it on my laptop and thought it was too hilarious not to share. Didn't even come close to finishing, but it was 9 pages on Word.
Behold: UC Showdown w/ Host TJ Lavin.
28 competitors walk along the beach towards an arena that is seen in the distance. The ocean is to their right, with jungle on the side. Some are sweaty from the hot sun, but most have the look of determination on their faces.
Jamie (confessional): I’m ready to win this. I will fight as hard and as dirty as I possibly can in order to get my hands on some cash.
Kaitlyn (confessional): I’m not here to make friends or sleep with boys this time around. I’m a new kind of competitor this time around.
Expert (confessional): I’ve been working out all summer for this.
Kyle (confessional): I’m dressed to impress and ready to kick some major a**.
The competitors continue down the beach as they enter the arena one by one and stand in the arena viewing area. TJ Lavin awaits them in the middle of the arena as the rest of the competitors settle into place.
Brian (confessional): This place looks intimidating. I never want to be here, unless absolutely necessary.
Dara (confessional): I can’t wait to see what this place brings out of people.
DB (confessional): I’m tough, I can handle this.
Nate (confessional): There’s no way I’m going to lose again. Not this time.
Brooke (confessional): You can tell this is where things will get dirty.
Flashes of upcoming eliminations start to cross. We see two hands around a pole, helmets crash, and a puzzle slides. Kyle scores a ball into a large basket as his competition’s helmet falls off. A wheel spins and it lands on “Ball Brawl” and everyone has stunned looks on their faces. Kenny yells to someone that they can do this. Brooke sits on the sand as tears run down her face. Someone carries a large rope though poles. Kaitlyn yells as a piece of rope cuts into her hand. A hand slips off a handle bar and someone splashes into the water. Curse words fly as bodies slam and helmets collide. The scene goes back to the present.
TJ: Welcome everyone to the next season of The Ultimate Challenge Showdown. Here is where all the eliminations will go down. We call it, The Arena. But how does one get here? Here’s how. Before every elimination there will be two Challenges. After the first challenge, the team that wins will receive $10,000 to their team bank account. Then both teams will deliberate on who they want to nominate to the Arena from the opposing team, one guy and one girl. Then the next day you all will compete in another challenge where a Lifesaver will be up for grabs for one guy and one girl on each team. More on the Lifesaver later. Now onto more pressing matters. I’m sure you’re wondering how we are going to be picking teams.
TJ holds up a black bag. Everyone looks around and some people make the connection. Some people looked shocked, while others looks pleasantly content.
TJ: That’s right, you all guessed it, we are picking teams, right here, right now. I’ll draw for captains. And we’ll flip a coin to see who picks first.
Dusty (confessional): I’m really nervous about a school yard pick. I don’t want to end up on a team with most of these people or picked last. I was hoping for an individual challenge.
JC (confessional): If I’m on a team with some of these people I may crack.
Scene cuts to a shot of Brooke and then a shot of Expert.
Ashley (confessional): I live for sh*t like this. I can’t wait to see some of these people’s faces when they end up on a team with people they can’t stand.
TJ reaches into the bag and pulls out two large black coins.
TJ: Looks like we are going to have two guy captains. Our first captain is Dewie.
Everyone claps as Dewie makes his way up to TJ. Dewie walks and stand to TJ’s right.
Dewie (confessional): I have my eyes on the prize, so I’m definitely going to try and make the strongest team possible. Then there will be no way we will lose.
TJ: And the next captain is Stan.
Stan, rolls his eyes (confessional): This was the last spot I wanted. I don’t want to be seen as the leader of this team and that’s exactly what will happen. At least I won’t be on Dewie’s team.
Everyone claps for Stan as he stands on TJ’s left. You see YoungMark flexing his arms in the crowd shot and small whispers go about everyone. The camera zooms in on Mer, who’s standing next to CF. TJ flips the coin as Dewie calls tails.
Dewie (confessional): Tails never fails.
Merideth (confessional): I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen.
The coin lands on heads.
Dewie (confessional): Guess it does fail sometimes.
TJ: Looks like you’ll get to pick first, Stan. We’ll go boy/girl, then Dewie will get first girl pick and so on.
Stan: I’m going to go with who I think is the strongest dude and that’s Brian.
Brian walks over and stands behind Stan.
Brian (confessional): I don’t mind getting picked first, it feels good. But I’d rather be on a team with my boy Dewie any day of the week.
Dewie: I’m going to go with Nate and then since I have first girl pick as well, I’m picking Dara.
Baguette: I’m not shocked Dara is picked first, she’s a very fierce competitor.
Dewie (confessional): I didn’t want to go with Nate at first, but with his performances on previous challenges, I said f*ck it.
Both Dara and Nate make their way over to stand behind Dewie. The picks continue on as a few people wait nervously to be picked.
Stan: My girl Jamie.
Dewie: DB.
Stan: Kenny and then Baguette.
Everyone starts making their way towards their teams.
Dara (confessional): I was hoping I would be on the same team as Baguette so we wouldn’t potentially have to go up against each other. This sucks.
Dewie: Brooke get over here. Don’t make me regret it.
Dewie (confessional): I know a lot of people here don’t like Brooke, including myself in that statement sometimes, but she’s a good competitor. I’d take her over some of these other girls who can’t lift their own luggage any day of the week.
Brooke (confessional): 4th girl picked. I’ll take it.
Stan: Outlast.
Dewie: I’ll take Expert and then Alaina.
Stan: JC, come on.
JC, not looking too happy that she’s not on the same team as Nate, saunters over to Stan’s side with a pout on her face.
JC (confessional): I’m pissed I’m not on Nate’s team.
Ashley (confessional): Just the look on JC’s face alone had made my night.
Stan (confessional): I don’t really know the skill level of some of these ladies, so I chose JC because I know she can bring out the competitive side when she needs to.
Dewie: Kyle.
Stan: Jon and then CF.
Auto (confessional): The closer picked to the bottom I get, the more upset I get. People are picking their friends and they aren’t thinking about the competition.
Dewie: Ashley.
Stan: Auto.
Dewie: Jimmy, you’re a rookie, but I think you have something to prove. And then Alice.
Dewie (confessional): I know Alice is legit crazy, but she’s better than the others. I hope I didn’t just make the wrong move.
Jimmy (confessional): I’m just glad I wasn’t picked last.
Stan: Kaitlyn, let’s do this.
TJ: Alright Dewie. There are only two guys remaining. YoungMark and Dusty. Whoever you don’t choose will go to Stan’s team.
YoungMark (confessional): Either way I am not happy I was picked at the bottom. My team is going to hate me when I give them hell because of this.
Dewie: I really like both competitors and I think they are both great people, sometimes, but I’m going to go with Dusty. Sorry, Mark.
Dusty stomps over to Dewie’s team and Mark grumpily goes to Stan’s team. Both men not happy they were chosen last. Dusty shakes Dewie’s hand and thanks him for being picked.
Dewie: Elle, I don’t know you, but I’ve heard great things.
Stan: I know more about Holly, so Holly. And then also Meredith.
TJ: Which means Dewie, by default you get Danielle.
Danielle (confessional): I knew I wasn’t going to get picked first, but last? Okay yeah, I knew I was going to get picked last. I’m the most unathletic person here (she laughs).
Dewie (confessional): Why is Danielle even here?
TJ: So it looks like we have our teams. Dewie, you guys will be the Red Team, and Stan, you all are blue. I’ll see you guys tomorrow for your first Challenge.
Everyone starts to leave the arena and we are transitioned to a large house. Everyone starts to run for a room, a few of the competitors trip over each other and have a good laugh. Alice struggles with her large suitcase and no one helps her. When they all arrive, they realize that their rooms have already been divided for them. Each team has a large room with seven bunk beds each and two bathrooms off to the side. The rest of the house is spacious, but most rooms are large and it seems like no one would be able to get away. The house has a large pool and a hot tub in the back as well.
Brooke: So much better than the last house.
Kenny (confessional): There is absolutely no privacy here, the girls are going to hate it.
JC (confessional): Not sure how I’m going to handle sleeping in a separate room as Nate. It’s going to kill me.
CF (confessional): I do love that there’s a large pool, but living in a room with all my teammates (shakes head).
Expert stands on top of the kitchen island and pops a bottle of champagne. Everyone fills their cups as Expert makes a toast.
Expert: Here’s to mad competition, crazy roommates, and hopefully pulling out the win for team red.
Jamie rolls her eyes. Most of the blue team disagrees with the toast. The entire red team shouts “CHEERS.”
Jamie: He means the blue team.
Everyone else cheers and we transition to music blaring as the competitors start having a good time.
Beer pong and truth and dare start to occur. The competitors start a game of flip cup and it inner cuts between people making out (CF with Outlast, Jamie with Alice, Stan and Danielle, and DB sneaks off with Mer) and some couples sneaking off to the bedrooms (JC and Nate, Kyle and Baguette). Brooke sits outside with Dara by the pool, feet in the water.
Brooke: I just really don’t see the need anymore to party like this. Yeah I’ll drink, but randomly hooking up with people is behind me. Calm and collected Brooke this season.
Dara: Yeah, I’ve never seen the need. Plus if we put all of our focus on competiting, we’ll do way better anyway.
Brooke: Do you have any idea who you want to nominate for this first round?
Dara: Not really. I do want our team to come together first. I hope we can all agree. Nothing will hurt our team more if we can’t agree.
Brooke: Definitely. We have a ton of hot headed people. It’s going to get interesting.
Brooke (confessional): I’m really glad I’m on a team with Dara, so down the line I won’t have to go up against her. I think my biggest competition at the moment is Baguette or Jamie, but I know Dara won’t throw in Baguette.
The scene skips ahead where all the competitors are sitting around the living room still have a fun time. Jimmy walks in.
Jimmy: Hey guys, we have a clue from TJ. “Hope you guys are in for a shocking experience. Be ready to go bright and early.”
Expert: Guys I bet we are getting electrocuted.
Holly (confessional): I highly doubt they’d electrocute any of us.
Everyone starts talking about the many possibilities of what the challenge can potentially be.
Scene skips ahead to the next day. Dewie, Brooke, Dara, Ashley, DB, Alaina, and Nate are sitting in their uniforms in one of the Red Team’s vans on the way to the first competition.
Nate: I was thinking we should go easy this time around, maybe throw in Holly and Mark.
Brooke: What if we nominate one strong person and one weak person, that way we just get a feel of how they are going to play.
DB (confessional): It’s really difficult this first round because we have no idea if the other team is going after our weak players or our top players.
Dara and Ashley nod in agreement.
Ashley (confessional): I’m not about to nominate one of their strongest girls because I could very well be nominated first. I’d rather take out their weakest players than go against Jamie. Bring on Kaitlyn or Holly.
Dewie: Yeah we could do that. Guess we’ll just have to figure out who.
Scene cuts to Blue Van #1 holding Stan, Outlast, YoungMark, Jon, Holly, CF, and Merideth.
Stan: I think we should go after their top players. We’ll have to get rid of them eventually, why not now? We don’t want Kenny and Brian in charge, do we?
Most of the van agrees that they should go against the strongest, just not Jon.
Jon: I just don’t see this working in our favor.
Jon (confessional): I don’t think nominating their top players is going to get us anywhere. What happens if they nominate our weak players. Then we are SOL. No, not doing it.
Stan: I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when we get there.
All the vans are shown from above as the challengers get out and make their way towards their first challenge. They all enter a warehouse, where TJ stands in front of a huge curtain that’s drawn.
JC (confessional): This can never be good.
Ashley (confessional): All I see is this huge curtain and I just have to know what’s behind it.
TJ: Welcome everyone to your first challenge here in beautiful Thailand. Before we get started I need each team to deliberate and pick who they think is the other team’s smartest player. That person will be their captain. You all have 10 minutes to decide.
Each team goes over to their tents. Outlast immediately is nominated by the red team, but over at the Blue Team’s tents, the team is having a hard time choosing who they think is the smartest.
Brian: I think Dewie is. He’s knowledgable and most of his team would probably try and take over.
Jamie: But Brooke is great at puzzles. What if she gets to sit out of a puzzle if we pick her?
Kenny: That could be the strategy on this one. Maybe we should go with Brooke.
Brian: I still think Dewie, but if the majority of the team wants Brooke, I’ll go with Brooke.
The teams gather back together in front of TJ.
TJ: So the Red Team has decided that Outlast is Blue’s smartest player and the Blue Team agreed on Brooke as the Red Team’s smartest.
Dewie (confessional): *Dewie shakes his head, with no words*
TJ: So if you guys could join me up here and I’ll explain in a few minutes what your part in this will be. For everyone else, you’ll be taking part in a little quiz. I hope you all have been paying attention since you’ve arrived in Thailand. Because you all will be answering questions based on your living quarters. Each team member will get to answer one question. If you get it correct, you get a point, if you get a question wrong, well…
TJ turns to look at Brooke and Outlast and the curtain falls behind him. Two chairs are seen that look very similar to execution type chairs.
TJ: Here’s where you two come in. You both will be strapped to those chairs and every time someone on your team gets an answer wrong, you’ll be given a small electric shock, where we will increase the voltage after each wrong question. So let’s play Captain’s Chair.
Brooke curses and Outlast gives off a nervous laugh. Some of the competitors have their mouths drop, while others laugh.
Brooke: Define small TJ. You guys better not get any questions wrong.
TJ: Just enough to keep you away from the hospital. *he laughs*
Dewie (confessional): The one time I will let Brooke be smarter than me.
Dusty (confessional): This is going to be hilarious. Makes me want to get my question wrong on purpose.
JC (confessional): Poor Outlast, at least I can laugh at Brooke.
Brooke (confessional): I have never been more nervous in my entire life.
Brooke and Outlast get strapped into their chairs as the other competitors decide the order in which they will answer their questions.
