RULES AND GAMEPLAY
Gameplay
The game of Survivor, while containing many important aspects, is also a very simple game to play. There will be a challenge every three days, however, as far as this game goes, it is most likely subject to change. We’ll basically go with the flow, and whenever we finish a week, whether it’s over or under three days, we’ll then move on to the next week soon after.
Tribal Immunity Challenges
There will be two/three/four tribes, competing in every tribal immunity challenge. During a normal challenge day, the tribes will compete in that day’s challenge, and the winning tribe(s) will receive immunity from that night’s tribal council, this meaning that the whole tribe will be safe another survivor week. Along with this, the tribe that gets last in the immunity challenge must go to tribal council and send one of their own home.
Once the immunity challenge is over, that night(again, give or take), the losing tribe will have to go to Tribal Council.
Challenges are either Non-Live by PM, 24 Hour DIY, or Live.
Non-Live by PM: a majority of the challenges typically, they are done by messaging the host and asking for the challenge. The host will then give you the challenge privately and reveal the results later on. There is usually a 48 or 72 hour deadline to complete it.
24 Hour DIY: a 24 hour deadline is given to complete a challenge on your own and send it to the host.
Live: Done on the threads LIVE at a specified time, often times voted on by the players.
Tribal Council
As said above, the losing tribe of that week will have to go to Tribal Council, which is the ceremony that will decide the fate of one member of the losing tribe. The losing tribe’s members will each vote for the one person that they want to go home, and the person with the most amount of votes will be sent home. However, there are a few exceptions to the majority vote deciding your fate in the game.
Hidden Immunity Idol
Sometimes, hidden idols will be hidden at camp, or in this case, hidden in a board where you must guess numbers from 1-77. If there are idols, clues will be hidden in rewards for the winning tribe(s). The first person to find the idol, will be able to keep it. They can do the following with their hidden idol:
1. Play it to save themselves before the votes are read at any tribal council before the final five.
2. Give it to another player to use in the same way.
If you are in possession of an idol, you can basically do whatever you want with it, even destroy it if that is what you feel is necessary.
In this season’s case, there is also a fake idol hidden. To validate whether or not it is a real idol or not, you must ask the host publicly at a tribal council. You may also not ask, and take your chances, but that it all up to you.
Merge
At a predetermined time during the game, the tribes will be merged into one singular tribe. This marks the time in the game where all of you will be competing for yourselves. You will compete for individual immunity, meaning that one person will be safe from being sent home each week, but all of you will be going to tribal council every week. If you make the merge, if you are sent home before the final two or three, you will be a part of the jury.
Jury
The jury will be a group of 7-9 people typically, who made the merge but were sent home before the final two or three. They will each vote at the end of the game for the person who they want to win the game. So in the end, it’s up to the past players to decide who wins the game and takes home the million dollars.
Ponderosa
This is where all the jurors will be staying until it’s time to vote for the winner. It’s a nice place compared to the tribes. Lots of food, showers, beds, etc.
Rules
1. There’s going to be a zero-tolerance rule for complaining/whining to the host. There’s a respectful way to let me know something that’s bothering you and I’m happy to hear it and let you know how you’re wrong or if I’m wrong, I’ll fix it.
2. Make sure to check the main page each day because even if there isn’t a challenge happening, there will still most likely be a post regarding preparations for the next challenge, and I need you all to be ready for them.
3. Post in confessionals as much as you can. It’s good for the host to know what’s going on, and for the viewers and players to have something to read after the game is over. Do not give out your password to anyone, especially people in the game.
4. You must vote at every tribal council, and self-votes are unacceptable. If you fail to vote more than twice, you will be removed from the game.
