Howie wasn't a very good player, Kaysar barely did sh*t, Chicken George obviously didn't do sh*t. They were good characters tho. |

BBCAN >>> BBUS with the exception of some of the early seasons. Nothing will top BBUS6 for me. NOTHING. I remember internet forums were TEARING EACHOTHER UP that summer. Internet fans were extremely divided and extremely passionate about their favorites (Nerd Herd/Friendship vs Sovereign Six). It was just a really hilariously dramatic and vile summer. That was probably the greatest thing about it. I used to make all these evil gifs about Ivette (getting electrocuted, getting her head cut off by a lightsaber-weidling Jedi Jani whilst getting her face burned off by an exploding outdoor grill...) I was still in high school, sue me. The seething hatred people had for Jennifer (a.k.a Jblow) after she betrayed Kaysar in the Torture Cage HOH, Janelle's rapid fire HOH reign to subsequently get rid of Jennifer, Maggie tricking Howie into targetting James/Sarah...Janelle being SO CLOSE to crushing Ivette's dreams. It was just nonstop hatred among the fans and I loved it. And the power switched every week. Maybe it was a "had to be there" moment, but I still think fondly on that summer when I lost some a few loser internet friends over a reality tv show. smilesmile I stopped watching BBUS for the most part after All-Stars, which I didn't find to be a particularly strong season. I've heard good things about 10, but everything else after that has been so-so. Anyway, back on topic: I'm pumped for Season 3, although it seems there isn't that much build up for it, yet. Even if its lulzy and bad, I'm still gonna love it, I'm sure. And yes, I'm worried Canada will want to do an All-Stars season prematurely. Lots of international reality tv shows are doing allstars/returning player seasons by seasons 4, and then continuing them until the show dies out. There is lots of All-Star material for BBCAN, but I think its partly because Canadian players are TRYING to be allstars. Its like ORGers trying to get cast for a future allstars forum game. Canadians have been watching BBUS for over a decade, and they finally get the chance to play, so they already have this media-whore mindset. I'm looking at you...PETER BROWN. >  |

Even then you still have really good to great Seasons in 2, 3, and 11. It is weird how awful the US casting is when you look at the same person casting for Canada. You should definitely check out season 10 though. What a great cast of players and characters.
Also I love that Jillian won BBCAN1 and Peter didn't get what he wanted AGAIN.

Boggles my mind, but yes they had a big following.  2) Jillian winning BBCAN1 in the most EPIC way possible, if only for the SOLE FACT that Peter campaigned so hard for her not to win only to be foiled by Emerald "Topaz" Brady's glorious mistake, might be one of my favorite reality tv moments EVER. In fact, I'm 150% secure in that statement.  |
