Tribal Council #6: Vireo TribeThe six Vireo members walk into the tribal council area and set their torches at the back before sitting down near the fire.
Hello, new Vireo tribe. That was, once again, one of the closest challenges in Survivor history, but you guys lost today and tonight you will be down to five members. Before we get to the vote, I have a few questions as always.
Lizzie (lizzie), losing to a tribe with three players that didn't even compete has got to be a tough thing to take in. Does that hurt the morale of this newly formed tribe?
Joey (Joey), how does it feel coming over to a new tribe, after being with your old tribe for so long? Does it seem like the division between old Anole and old Vireo might be an issue for tonight's vote?
Kyle (herovvillain31), is the threat of a possible hidden immunity idol being played to maintain numbers something to think about at this tribal?
JR (@challenge2014), who do you think needs to worry for tonight's vote? Will it be a close vote?
Cole (Coke), it seemed like a lot of people thought that a merge was coming this round. How does a tribal swap change plans?
Tyler (dabus408), at this point in the game, is it important to start targeting strategic or social threats?
Please answer the questions addressed to you above, and PM me your vote ALONG with a brief message regarding why you voted that way, or a message to who you voted out (this will not be shown until the end of the game) by 11:59 PM on Monday, January 5, 2014 (22 Hours From Now). If your vote is not in by then, it will count against yourself. If you have an idol and you would like to play it, let me know before the votes are read by private message.

I think we need to start thinking about the merge, we're going to be down to 10 people after tonight's vote so it very well could be a merge on our hands. So there are all types of aspects that go into it.

It's odd, I mean Anole was a great tribe and it is really different to be on a different tribe. As for a Vireo/Anole divide, I don't know if there is one but if there is, that could mean trouble.

It does kind of hurt the morale. I'm not really sure how we lost to be honest. I thought we performed pretty well and it's just a shame that we weren't able to pull a victory out. I hope it doesn't become the norm!

Tribal swap changes everything. You get three new tribe mates that you've never even spoken to before and it adds a new element to the game. Will the past tribes stick together or is there a completely new game plan? I guess we'll find out.

Absolutely, you want numbers going into the merge and we are nearing the point of the game where people want to make big moves. Playing an idol would certainly do that and a handful of us have been to exile.

Honestly I don't know. With this game being online it's hard to say who is talking to who because all side conversations happen through messages. There are people on my tribe that I haven't even spoken too and that scares me. I think we should all feel a little uneasy because anything can happen tonight. The vote may not be close, but we will see who is in control tonight and who is with who.

It is time to vote. JR, you're up first.
JR gets up to vote, followed by the other five members of the tribe. Once everyone has votes, Nate gets up and comes back shortly with the voting urn.
Before I read the votes, if anyone has a hidden immunity idol and they would like to play it, now would be the time to do so...

Sorry, I didn't make this clear: You HAVE to vote for either Cole or Tyler. If it's another tie between those two, they become safe and the other four draw rocks.

What happens if their votes aren't in by noon, do their votes stay the same?

Nate flips around the fourth vote.
Cole. Cole, I need you to bring me your torch.
Cole gets up and brings his torch over to Nate.
Cole, the tribe has spoken.
Nate snuffs Cole's torch and Cole exits the tribal council area.
Tribes may not be that easy to break apart, but apparently it has already happened. Judging by this vote, the game has just begun. Grab your torches, head back to camp. Good night.
