I was gonna say that but I feel like we went over that enough in the finale thread lol. We really did. And I think both sides have valid points. But yeah...do you guys think that they should have had different rules of the Final 4 back in Marquesas when Paschal was sent home by drawing a rock? I mean I guess they didn't know it would happen that way or even come to a tie, but so close to the end going like that is such a bummer. I mean that's probably why they changed the rules.

Who played the best non winning game and why? I feel as if most people are hands down going to say Cirie. But from just off of memory, I'm going to say Rob C. (Amazon) or Russell (Samoa). I'll give a reason for Rob C. after I finish the rewatch. But Russell's game is hands down one of the better strategic games. Had he actually been a nice person he would have outshined every single person there.

Russells samoa is better than all of those games? I mean I guess we can say that Russell got lucky with idols, etc. But he knew exactly what moves he had to make to stay in the game. I think he's Top 3 for sure when it comes to this topic. I can't really comment on Fairplay just yet, I don't remember much about him other than he lied about his grandma (that's the next season I'll be watching). And you know I'm always for Parv, but with HvV it's arguable, yeah she did her own thing on that season and made a few moves without even consulting Russell, but Russell had a big hand on her being there. Without him there would be a completely different game and Parv would have probably not even made the jury. I also always wanted Stephen to win Tocantins. I think JT wins because he's a nice guy and more likable. But I for sure think Stephan played 100% of a better game and was the head of that alliance. Every decision that was shown was by Stephen, not JT. JT seemed more like he was riding Stephen's coattails the entire time. I mean physically Ozzy was a very dominant player, there is no doubt about that, but off the top of my head I can't really think too much any strategic moves he made on CI. Yul deserved to win more than anyone that season. Boston Rob also, convincing the other tribe to keep Amber is a very good move, he played it very very well, except his final social moves. Had BR kept his alliance with Big Tom that season and Big Tom would have gone to Final 3, I think he would have won.

If he had a better read of the game, he'd taken shambo to the end instead of Natalie solidifying his win. Took BR his 4th season to perfect it but if you're drawing to the end and have very limited people to beat at the end, you did something wrong. Jfp beats lil, Rob beats jenna or matt, Cirie most likely beats parv and amanda, Stephen beats erin, Parv probably loses to jerri but she had the correct read in terms of voting off sandra. The difference between all of those games and russells was that they didnt get the chance to make that final move while russell had the chance to make any move he wanted. He used his power incorrectly, while the others would have used it more affectively.

Russell was just the first person that came to mind, behind Rob C. of course. I'm not saying he's the best candidate, but he comes pretty close, still Top 3 to me. But I give Russell mad credit since he made it to the end twice. That's not something tons of people can say. He was his own downfall in the long run. Personally Amanda would never win against anyone at any time. She's just awful at all aspect of giving a speech. But to me it's (And I can't even come up with a Top 10 and I'm sure no one will agree with me): 1. Rob C. 2. Aubry/Stephen (I couldn't pick between the two of them) 3. Russell (Samoa) 4. Boston Rob (All-Stars) 5. Coach (South Pacific) 6. Cirie (Micronesia) 7. Parvati (HvV) 8. Stephanie (Guatemala) 9. Colby (Australia)

Cirie in Micronesia is my pick for best game to not win. She basically made final 3 and production made the final 2 change, something she couldn't have prepared for at all. I don't think Samoa Russell should even be considered, it makes it even worse when you think he had 2 to 3 goats and booted them and kept Natalie. I always see people list that he'd win if he was nicer, but that's like saying Russell would win if he was a totally different person.
Among Cirie, I'd also rank: Stephen in Tocantins, Rob in Amazon (slightly overrated imo though), Fairplay in Pearl Islands, Colby in Australia, Rafe in Guatemala, Malcolm in Philippines, Kathy in Marquesas, Scout in Vanuatu, and Cirie in Panama.

I think her Guatemala game is terrible and one of the worst games I've seen. I know some people have clearly played worse by going out soon, but she had the tools to do really well and just went on to make bad decisions and be one of the biggest goats ever.
