7B is starting out great! I think this new group will be pretty cool. I'm so anxious to see the rest of this season!!

This episode caused me to be nervous and annoyed at the same time. I love Eugene but a little bit of his monotone voice and arrogant geekness goes a long way. I was also nervous that his arrogance was going to get him killed or he was going to let something slip that would get other members of the Grimes Group killed. By the end of the episode, however, 3 things became clear to me: Eugene is actually smart, Eugene may be the one who kills Negan and takes over the Sanctuary, and "Easy Street" is stuck in my head once again!
I'm all aquiver about the whole group (hopefully with Carol making an appearance at some point) getting together to kick some Saviors butt this season. I think they can cobble together enough people from the several different groups, possibly including the all-female tribe that Tara came across, to wage an effective assault. I can easily see Dwight defecting from the Saviors and joining in the fight but I don't know if he'll survive it or if he'll even want to survive it... he seems to have nothing to live for anymore. I hated Dwight when he was first introduced on the show but now I can't help but feel really sorry for him and the existence he's found himself in.

Wow, it looks like this and other boards on this site are on life support! What the hey, I'll still comment on the March 5th episode anyway and maybe someone will decide to join in on the discussion before the March 12th episode.
It was fun seeing Rick and Michonne "on a date" and actually having some laughs, in addition to having some pretty decent sex. It's amazing that the two of them were able to take out so many walkers, especially after miscalculating and ending up in a car surrounded by a couple dozen hungry zombies. Michonne's reactions when she feared that Rick was at the bottom of that feeding walker pile and her sheer exuberance at seeing him alive and rushing into his arms was wonderful. I admit I wasn't on board with their relationship at first because it seemed forced and a reaction to some fans wanting it to happen but I'm all-in now because they definitely have a great connection.
I'm very worried that Sasha and Rosita are going to screw things up for the others who are trying to put together a workable battle plan. I know that Sonequa Martin-Green is doing the new "Star Trek" series so I can see her getting killed in this foolhardy plan but I'm not sure about Christian Serratos surviving (but I imagine she will). If the two of them go to the Sanctuary guns-ablazin', there goes the element of surprise that the rest of the group was counting on. The Saviors are dangerous enough already but if they get a heads-up that Rick and Company are preparing an assault, it's going to get very ugly. I'm hoping that Negan ends up on the business end of Lucille in the last episode of this season (same with his clone, Simon). With any luck, Dwight and some of the other Saviors will jump ship and side with the Grimes Group.
From next week's preview, it appears that Carol will be back. I hope that's what it means because the group really needs the old Carol back. I hope we get to see her reaction to finding out what's happened to the group since she left Alexandria last season and that she finds her fire again because the group can't really afford to have another "I won't kill anyone for any reason" person like Morgan. They're going to need all hands on deck if they're going to defeat the Saviors.

You mean the entire season 7 or part b? I think the story telling in part B alone is outstanding. You've got the dynamics of the three communities: (alexandria trying to recruit to go up against Negan. Hill top wanting to fight while their "leader" is pretty much a pussy and not wanting to do anything while we get the sense Maggie will overthrow him and some point. and The Kingdom also wanting to fight while some are hesitant, but we see the animosity building while the two meet up for the exchange of goods). Then the new group demanding orders in order to align with Rick but Rick is standing up as a leader.
Then, you got rise of Rick and Michone's relationship and how both are getting to the point where neither will be able to go on if the other dies. You got Rosita going rogue and wanting to take on Negan alone since she blames herself for several people's deaths. Will her eagerness get her killed or will she learn to be patient?

Morgan and Queen Carol are back [img src="https://s9.postimg.org/mpmk6dixb/yejoice.png" src="https://s9.postimg.org/mpmk6dixb/ .png" src="https://s9.postimg.org/mpmk6dixb/ .png"] So glad to see Carol ready to get back to her old self. As for Morgan, while I'm glad he finally decided to take his testicles out of dry storage, it was shocking to see him go full-on anti-pacifist all at once.
A month or so ago, I read that Lennie James had written and was going to star in a series in the UK so I wonder if he's taking a break from TWD, which would explain what he said to Carol last night. He might do what Carol herself did... get away from everyone and just do things himself in his own way. If his other series doesn't work out, it would leave him free to return to TWD. Only a couple more episodes left in Season 7... it seems to be flying by and I'm already dreading the 6-month hiatus.

Wow, I can't believe nobody's talking about this show. Last night was another good, but non-action, one. We got an unexpected reveal about Jesus, at least to those of us who haven't read the comics (assuming this was also covered there as well), a tearful apology from Daryl to Maggie, Gregory once again being the sleazebag we all know him to be (and potentially getting a lot worse), the Hilltop's only doctor being taken by the Saviors due to Negan throwing one of theirs into the furnace, and Sasha and Rosita going rogue in their attempt to take out Negan themselves. We also saw Eugene doing the only thing he's ever been capable of... protecting himself, no matter who else gets hurt. When Sasha did what she did toward the end of the episode, I got the definite impression that she's not long for this show. She's going to be on the new "Star Trek" series so it's not going to come as a big surprise but I've always liked her and don't want her to leave TWD permanently. As for who that silhouetted figure was at the very end that Rosita saw, I guess we'll find out soon enough. There's only 2 more episodes left in this season and I read an article that said it wouldn't end on a cliffhanger so hopefully we'll get some real answers to keep us going during the hiatus.

It used to be an active thread but not so much lol. I'm prob the only one who watches weekly. I have a feeling I know what happens within the next two episodes and who the silhouette was of but there's only two options and I think it's safe to assume it's not the fan fav lol.

I'm glad the last episode of this season is going to be an extended one. It will be 1:25 according to the TV Guide site, which lists the description as follows: "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life": The stakes keep mounting higher and higher as different stories clash, while the group enacts an intricate plan.
I have a feeling that Sasha has already taken the pill that Eugene gave her and it will take effect while Negan is trying to get information out of her. Given the chance, I think Eugene will find a way to brain her before she turns... or maybe after, just to traumatize him a little more. I'm not surprised that Eugene turned traitor but I can't even imagine Sasha doing that so I think she'll sacrifice herself for the greater good.
I fully expect the women, minus Grandma, to find their way to Alexandria in order to help in the fight.
Where the hell is Carol?! It sure seemed like she was going to rejoin the group but that was a couple episodes ago and there's only the one left so I really hope she shows up next week. As for Morgan, he can stay gone... I'm long since over him. I'm very anxious for the last episode but I'm also sad that it's the last one this season. It's an awfully long 6 months without my favorite show to look forward to each week.

Hellooooo, anybody out there? I'm really trying with this site but it seems like I'm only having conversations with myself! Even with all of the unnecessary and sometimes downright vulgar posts on the IMDB boards (particularly "The Walking Dead" one), I have to say I miss that place because the boards were always very active. Hopefully the ones on this site will pick up.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand. I love TWD but was frankly disappointed with the season finale last night. I stayed up to watch "The Talking Dead" and they were saying how great it was that the group finally got a win. Maybe I was watching a different episode because what I saw sure didn't look like much of a win. In the timeline of the characters on the show, they probably spent the better part of a week scrounging around looking for (and, in the case of Oceanside) stealing weapons and ammo, only to waste most of it on what looked to me like yet another major mistake from the group. It almost felt like the prison episode when the Governor and his people made the Grimes Group look like a bunch of amateurs. I haven't read very many of the TWD comics but I've heard about "All Out War", which I imagine we'll see in Season 8, but unless there's some sort of miracle on its way to Alexandria, I think it's going to be a very brief war.

I guess that's possible but I thought a lot of people watched TWD, especially since this board has 53 pages of posts on it. The conversation seems to have dried up but hopefully there will be more to talk about next season.

I thought it was a good finale. I could've gone away with a lot of the Sasha flashbacks and memories. Kinda was getting annoying but i liked how the lead up of the war palmed out. Yes the Scavengers turned on Rick but negan still doesn't know about Dwight helping Rick. I think it was a win for the group in the sense that negan didn't get his way in the end. People were killed but it wasn't on his terms and he was thrown off guard on more the one occasion. It'll be interesting to see how Rick and the group hold of Negan.
