I’m a Boston Rob stan so i’m kinda hype he seems to be in a decent position. Still don’t expect him to go very far.
That might’ve been one of the best premieres of the entire series. It had everything. And i’m not too mad at the first two boots. Natalie is a sleeper to win the EoE challenge to come back.

I wish I would have checked in here last night.
The episode was SO good. Everything I wanted it to be and more. There aren’t many people I dislike at all. Ben is definitely annoying and is going dig his own grave in this game for sure. Definitely looking for more. I love the “Old School” alliance.
Yul about to win this entire thing with how smart he is.

Yul impressed me so much last night that I kinda wanna go back and watch Cook Islands right now. His grasp on the game is something I’ve never seen before. I think he had the best performance player wise in last nights episode.
I’m not a big fan of Boston Rob, but you have to appreciate how great he is at this game. He instills so much fear onto other castaways. The way he used the information Ben gave him and confronted Danni about it, and turned her into an alliance member was incredible. He’s the Survivor’s version of a Mafia Boss. Props to Danni also for handling that extremely well and coming clean. If she would’ve beat around the bush, I’m sure she would’ve been our first boot.
I think my biggest takeaway from this first first episode is that all the old schoolers (B Rob, Parvati, Sandra, Yul, Danni, Ethan) are miles ahead of new school in terms of gameplay. They were steer clear of any danger for both tribal councils and lead the charge for the most part. Every newbie looked paranoid. Even Kim (who is more mid school and considered the best winner ever) was shaking in her boots, while Sandra was laughing right in her face lmao. And Sandra (who’s won two times before) was worry free the whole night with a damn idol in her pockets.

I think my favorite part of the episode though gotta be the mental/emotional strain/nervousness/anxiety at the two tribal councils. The whole tone of both tribal councils, esp. as the votes were being read was so tense, you can cut the tension with a knife. No one wanted to go home, more than ever before. It’s a Survivor player’s biggest dream to play in a season of all winners, they didn’t wanna go home first. Just look at the way Tyson looks at Amber as Jeff reads her final vote and she goes to pick up her torch. You can literally see the tightness of his throat because the anxiety of going home first is running at a 100.

Id say Danni was more impressive than Rob in that scene because she was the one controlling his fate lol. He inquired her and she lied to him, instilling fake trust.

I do agree about the old players being miles ahead, and Boston Rob said it best....They be in go mode with no real social connections. Everything is strategy and nothing is real social bond.

Disagree, they both about even, but I’ll give slight nod to Boston Rob. She didn’t control his fate at all lmao. This is a ridiculous take. If Danni beats around the bush in that conversation, I think B Rob would’ve gathered up enough players to vote Danni out because B Rob is capable of doing just that. Danni was put into a corner and she made the best of it for sure, but she had no other option but to reveal herself and come clean.

The level of play is incredibly high. Never seen anything like it. Jeremy sensing somethings wrong at tribal, Tyson sensing everyone is avoiding him and goes into survival mode, Kim sensing shes on the bottom. The blue tribe afraid to throw out a name so it dont bounce back on them. I think the red tribe has better strategic players then the blue tribe tho. I also disagree with both vote offs tbh. Props to Adam for flipping that vote cuz he shouldve been gone tbh

Tyson going straight into survival mode right after trying to lead the decision for the first vote really emphasizes how high the difficulty level is this season. Like that was f*cking wild.

I also appreciate how balanced the edit was. No one dominated screen time, but all the winners had enough content I feel like for a 2 hour premiere.
Like Sarah and Michelle were the least visible imo, but they weren’t purpled either.
