Yes, I'm watching, Brooke. Thanks for making this thread for the show.
I'm not familiar with some of the Stars but even after just 1 episode, the show looks pretty interesting. I'm mostly glad that there's no Redemption House/Exile Island situation on this one (at least not that I'm aware of) because I prefer it when an eliminated person is completely out of the game... but that might just be my old-school Challenge nostalgia showing.
It's good to see Emily again and I hope she does well. I'm always happy to see Wes but he looks like he's put on a lot of weight since we last saw him. I'm excited to see him go after Johnny, which was shown on the preview for this week.
I'm starting to feel about Aneesa the same way I feel about Johnny... enough already! At least he makes an effort to win whereas Aneesa just seems to be there to be there.
I don't know how many episodes of "Champs vs. Stars" there will be but I'm sure it won't be nearly as many as "Dirty 30", which seemed to be on for months and months!

I like the "Parkour" aspect of this description and am looking forward to seeing the daily mission play out. I've always preferred the competition part of the Challenges to the in-house melodrama so I'm hoping for a good episode in that regard.

Well RIP Jenna this episode. Which sucks because she is probably my favorite female castmember since she is not arrogant about her ability and is pretty decent at everything except puzzles.

The paramedics said Jenna was okay but then we hear that she has a fractured ankle... how could they not see the extent of her injury?
So the Champs have lost Camila to yet another psychotic episode, Jenna to a broken ankle, and apparently Ashley to a family tragedy next episode. They're going to have to keep winning the daily missions because they're seriously depleting their team at this point.
I love the friendship between Wes and Romeo, who seems like a genuinely nice guy. As for Terrell Owens, I tend to agree with CT that he's a d**k. I've never really watched football so I don't know what he was like in that sport but it sounds like he's lousy at managing his money (assuming what CT said was actually true).
So far, I'm enjoying this Challenge and look forward to the next episode.

Yeah, T.O. has been terrible with money, especially since his last season from the NFL. That is why he has been trying to sign with a team since his last season. He was never a character guy in the locker room and was even responsible for the 49ers moving on from Jerry Rice. He was always going to be a drama lightning rod, and I am happy C.T. was the one he interacted with. Been a while since beast C.T. came around.

I was nervous seeing that side of CT but only because I was worried that he was going to revert to his old self and get into a fight that ended with him being sent packing by production. But he seems to have grown up and learned from his criminal behavior in the past (the murder of his brother, who had similar violent tendencies, was obviously a wake-up call for him). I was glad to hear him acknowledge his past during one of his confessionals and let us know that he's not going to go there again. He's a father now and has much more important things to do with his time.

I didn't know about Aneesa's charity so I'm fine with her being on a show to do that. I just wish she'd put forth a better effort on a "regular" Challenge. I used to be a huge fan of hers but she just seems to be on Challenges for the appearance fee and doesn't put forth a real effort to win. Just my opinion though.

From the commercials I've seen, I'm assuming the champ playing too dirty involves Romeo getting elbowed but I can't tell which Champ did it. I am curious to see the bit where guys are hanging upside down, which I presume is an elimination round.

I think Romeo was being way overdramatic about the whole situation.

A new player? I assume it's a replacement but will it be a Star to replace Terrell Owens or Riff Raff (if he doesn't come back) or will they bring in a girl to make up for Camila's latest DQ, Ashley's tragic reason for leaving, or Jenna's broken ankle?
I'm very much looking forward to watching them "endure an extremely physical challenge". I've always loved the competition aspect of the Challenges so this will be right up my alley.

I cannot stand this Riff Raff character. I have no idea who he is and had never heard of him before this Challenge but he irritates the hell out of me. I'm sure he's a multimillionaire at whatever he does and I'm equally sure that a lot of people think he's the coolest guy in the world (not as much as HE thinks that of himself, of course) but he's already gotten on my last nerve and I really wish his team would give him what he wants and send him into elimination and then home.
The "extremely physical challenge" for tonight's episode was a bit of a letdown. Maybe it would have been more exciting if the Stars team had put in a little effort to win. I'm already bored with this Challenge and even though I'll continue watching because I love Wes, I'm ready for "Vendettas" to get started... thankfully that's only 3 weeks away.

The Stars don't stand a chance against the Champs, though I'm curious about the next episode. None of the Stars' members have proved themselves to be strong competitors but Michelle. Justine is cool though. Riff Raff is on all kinds of stuff cause who are you kidding with your attitude dude?

Let’s be honest, I’d be the best competitor on this stars team

Obviously the old rivalry is Wes and Johnny but is it even a real rivalry... was it ever? Or is Johnny just carrying on Kenny's tradition of treating Wes like crap even though it was 90% for show? Whatever gets Wes some airtime is good enough for me though. And that human foosball table does look pretty cool.

There might be spoilerish info in my post so I'm doing a spoiler tag just in case. I knew Johnny had a chip on his shoulder but he was in crybaby overload tonight. I'm glad to see him care so much about his charity but he acts like he has a monopoly on that... every player on both teams wants to win money for theirs too. And at least Johnny got a visit from a representative of his, unlike any of the others (so far, at least). Even though I don't like Johnny, he's a very good player and can win on his own merit without all the drama. To see him carry on as though he's always played fair and square and never done anyone dirty is really hard to take. When he announced that he'd be done with Challenges for good if he got beaten in this elimination, you can't imagine how excited I was at the very prospect of that!!

First, I hope everyone had a great holiday!! Now on to "Champs vs. Stars".
The phrase "a player's vendetta" immediately leads me to believe that this is describing Johnny because how DARE he get thrown into elimination by his team. I'm still ticked off that Emily, who's supposed to be tough, is falling all over herself to apologize to both Johnny and the viewers for playing the game. She has no reason to be afraid of Johnny but she sure acts like she is. If those two actually went against each other in an elimination, my money would be on her. I just have a bad feeling that Wes isn't long for this Challenge because when Johnny wants something, he stops at nothing to make sure it happens... and we know he wants Wes to pay for his "crime" of not letting Johnny be the hero of last week's episode. Wes is the only reason I've even been watching this Challenge so if he goes out tonight, I'm done with this one and will just look forward to "Vendettas" next week.

Duh, my bad... I completely forgot that tonight would be a girl's elimination and that Johnny couldn't finagle to get rid of Wes. I am surprised that he didn't insist that Emily go in since he gave her so much grief last episode.
Maybe it's just me but I'm finding Aneesa to be cringeworthy these days. It seems like she's trying way too hard to be relevant with all of the younger girls in the cast by coming on to the guys. First, the apparently never-ending Cory story and now she's putting the moves on Josh. I wish she'd put as much effort into the competitive aspect of the Challenges.
As for the rest of the episode, I enjoyed the mission with the jumping onto the poles and swimming. Other than that, it was kind of boring. Hopefully "Vendettas" will have more going for it.
