We have a rank the seasons thread. Why not rank the winners? I'll add to my list as I go through my watch but for now this is what I got.
1) Hatch 2) Brian 3) Tina 4) Ethan 5) Vecepia

Why is Brian third? His social game?

Why is Brian third? His social game? im back and forth on Tina and Brian for 2nd. I think Brian's performance was better than Tina's, but at the same time I'd bet Tina would win 9 times before Brian would win once in any situation. So idk. I'm probably set on my current top 5. Brian was able to control the game almost better than Rich. He was never in danger (at least at the point I'm at in my viewing, the second to last episode) and his name was barely brought up as a target. People started recognizing how threatening he truly was eventually. He controlled his tribe in a similar way Rob did in RI and I think it's a good way to play.

Brian has played one of the best games of all time. When he put up his 5 finger plan and explained everyone's position left in the game down to a tee, strategy gameplay was taken to a new level. It was basically unheard of at that time. Now a days someone like a tony or BR would do that but for Brian to do that in season 4 was far ahead of his time. Plus he came up with the aquadump

Plus he came up with the aquadump yeah when I saw that confessional it changed my perspective on him as a player. He had everything so thought out and the way he played with no emotional connections to these people is very impressive to me. Sure socially he wasn't the best, as shown by his answer to Penny's FTC question, but I think he was ahead of his time as you said and it's really interesting to watch, which is why I recommend Thailand to anyone who hasn't seen it.
