#4 ObstacleTotal of 70 points, average of 11.6 points, average placement 6, highest points 15 (2nd place), lowest points 5 (12th place)
About the mission - "Teams have to race through an "obstacle course" that is spread out over half a mile within a field. The course contains ten various "obstacles," in which teams have to race through, over and around them as fast as possible. The tenth and final obstacle is "Defender," in which opposing players have to prevent players of the same gender from advancing from one end of a mud pit to another, where the finish line is located. The team that advances through the entire course in the fastest time wins and automatically advances to the final challenge, while the two teams (out of five) that finish in the bottom two automatically go to Exile." -Taken from Wikipedia
I really love a good obstacle course, who doesn't? But to make it harder, they decided to have 10, you heard me, TEN obstacles the pairs had to get through. And since Jenn and Noor had won the previous challenge, they got to determine the order of which the teams competed (putting themselves last of course), which also included the order in which teams would be the "Defender" on the tenth and final obstacle. Just looking at the teams at this point, you can basically tell before the Challenge is even played which teams would more than likely come out on top, or at least that is how I felt. Kenny and Laurel up to this point had been the dominating team with Landon and Carley not too far behind. I didn't think anyone in their right mind (out of the girls) would be able to stop Laurel and like I predicted Jenn couldn't really do much. So to me it was mostly predictable. MOSTLY. But what I remember the most were teams were exhausted by the time they made it to the last and final obstacle where the defenders had been waiting for the duration of their course and were much more stronger than the people having to make it past them. The physical aspect of this mission is what most people look forward to, but I honestly was kind of disappointed. It was more boring than anything. I'm just very indifferent about this mission. I'm starting to wonder why it's in the Top 5 actually. Another thing, the mission lasted so long that Jenn/Noor had to compete almost in the complete darkness (is that even fair?). It also had a crazy end result with Pete/Jillian only beating Jenn/Noor by 2 seconds, sending Jenn/Noor and Theresa/Ryan automatically into exile. Overall a great Challenge mission, just not my cup of tea. In all honesty, I probably gave it 12th place originally, lol. EDIT: JK, I gave it 2nd place on my rankdown, I'm a dumb. I regret it now.

#3 Block PartyTotal of 71 points, average of 11.8 points, average placement 6, highest points 16 (1st place), lowest points 3 (14th place) So I'm going to preface this by saying that The Ruins was my favorite season, so I'm totally bias while writing this little synopsis, so that's your warning. About Mission - "Two guys and two girls from each team will wrap around a pole. The remaining players from each team will then need to pull the other team's players off the pole and drag them back to the starting area to eliminate them. When a player is eliminated, they can join their teammates in trying to pull the opposing team's players from the pole. Once the opposing team's four players wrapped around the pole are eliminated, the team can then begin carrying cinder blocks to the pole to build steps high enough to ring the gong. The first team to ring a gong wins. -From Wikipedia Looking back at this season there weren't that many missions that you look at and you're like "THAT MISSION WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA" and I say that because this whole season had a slight team imbalance the entire time. Just physically looking at the teams, you may think they are even, but of course, you're wrong. Just the idea of this mission is great, I don't even have to go back and watch it to remember how great this mission was. Not only do you get to see Wes manhandled (see picture above, even if it takes 2 guys) because this was his very cocky days, but there was also the chance that Wes was just going to throw the mission and be a dumbass all at the same time (SPOILER, he didn't throw it). I was, however, rooting for the Challengers on this one, even though I knew they wouldn't win with Evan "The Canadian Moose" Starkman wrapped around that pole. I think this really showed off Evan's abilities as a strong competitor at the time. He was not going to budge from that pole no matter what. I'm also sure any dude enjoyed this mission, hell the guys comment about how amazing the girls wrestling in the sand was during the mission. KellyAnne was basically losing clothes as Susie/Veronica/Ibis tried to take her down. IT WAS JUST SO GOOD TO WATCH, even though we already could guess the outcome based on pure physical abilities. BEST MISSION EVER (even thought it was ranked at #3). BTW, not sure if they got this mission idea from Survivor or if Survivor got it from them, but Survivor has also done this same exact thing. I also can't believe someone gave this 14th place.....

I'm going to be honest I'm a tad surprised at block party at 3 ( not disappointed with it in any way though I had it 6th) and if I knew it was this high I probably would have not been as willing to switch it
Also love that my top 2 are the last 2, but also very curious at the order it finishes.
Also the post rankdown will be interesting.

I think I might have put Block Party a little low because it was a copy of a Survivor challenge so it gets a 1/10 in originality. Still a great mission tho I wish they'd do it again in some capacity.

#2 PiƱata PitTotal of 73 points, average of 12.1 points, average placement 5, highest points 15 (2nd place), lowest points 7 (10th place)
This is probably the best opener ever. The classic musical chairs in a mud pit, it had the full team of Veterans and Rookies go at each other. Now, it may seem that the Rooks had absolute no way in winning, but the females gave a really good fight. It had an epic, now classic moment of Coral dragging Ev after she critizised her for not getting a ball, Coral responding that Ev got one because of her. Plus one of the best quotes ever 'I don't care how strong you are, how much you bench press or this big rumour about you having a penis, I'll f*ck you up'. Ultimately the girls won after ganging up on Evelyn and Tori smashing Robin. Sadly for the rooks, it had a male tie-breaker, so if was virtually impossible for them to win with CT on the other team. Overall it was a great starter challenge becuase it showed the powerhouses in the first episode. A highlight also was Kenny (not) surprisingly getting eliminated in the first round.

#1 Push Over
Total of 77 points, average of 12.83 points, average placement 5, highest points 16 (1st place), lowest points 7 (10th place).
Mission Synopsis - Push Over: A player has to "push" their opponent off a plank that is attached to the end of a boat, with each players' hands tied to where they cannot grab their opponent. Prior to the challenge, match-ups are determined in which T. J. Lavin asks each player to pick colored tokens out of a bag, and players with matching tokens are paired up in same-gender heats. The challenge is played in three rounds of separate male and female heats. The first player to get pushed into the water is eliminated, and the process repeats until the last player standing wins. - Wikipedia
Aight ya'll wassup so like this challenge is one of the few I actually remember tbh. Like as soon as I was told what it was I knew immediately what it was. This challenge was mad interesting because it wasn't a pure brute strength competition nor was it some extreme athleticism challenge. It was basically sumo wrestling with your hands tied which I dig.
This mission started with Casey vs Jodi and Casey was looking good af in her confessional.. and then did all kinds of Casey things like immediately falling on the ground and flopping around like a f*ckin fish. <33333. Then Kina and Robin go and Kina talks about how there's "a weight advantage" in this challenge which is some cool foreshadowing tbh. Honestly the women's heats go the way you think they would with Robin and Beth ending up in the finals.. both crazy af and bigger than all the other girls combined. The first few guy heats go like you'd expect. Easy flipping Wes like a ragdall was f*ckin hilarious lmaooo. And then comes Derrick. Lmao I feel like this challenge is just a characture of Derricks challenge career... always the underdog but always proving people wrong. He knocks CT down in like 2.5 seconds and pops off. Then this man has to go against Easy. AND KNOCKS THE MF OFF IN LIKE 2.4 SECONDS OML. Like I love Derrick so much he always showed so much fight and it always felt like he wanted to prove something every chance he got even though people always had mad respect for him. Low key tho he said Easy weighed 270 but i don't see it cause I'm like 280 Easy is definitely pushing 320 tbh. In the finals Beth manhandles Robin and then POPS OFF on the "Drama Mafia" for "sharing strategy". Then she talks about bringing out Evil Beth it's so great. Derrick scuffles hard with Brad but eventually wins safety after just winning the last duel. Tbh both winners were great to me because you had Beth on one hand who everyone but like 3 people hated on the cast and on the other hand you got the young diesel just MURDERING kids.
