#10 Blind Mans Maze Total of 47 points, average of 7.83 points, average placement 10, highest points 14 (3rd place), lowest points 2 (15th place)
Eh dis is an okay placement for dis mission I guess.. I actually really liked this mission and feel like its better then a few of the ones that remain lol. Blind Mans Maze in my opinion showcases the whole storyline of G3.. You have the strong vet team who can keep up with smaller, weaker rookie team but in the end lose because of that lol & that's exactly what happened in this mission. So to start off each team had one person guiding them while the other players had to listen to the directions and follow their voice to the finish line.. Its simple but still entertaining lol, Through out the mission the rookies had the lead pretty much the whole time because they had 5 less players than the vets.. However the vets were still able to keep up with the rookies and that happens alot this season lol. Missions that catered to the smaller team literally were still won by the vets sometimes & while people may say that the Challengers Team from ruins was weak id say that this rookies team was the weakest team of all time.. Like it was sad how much of a headstart these guys were given and they would still loose missions. Anyways in the end the rookies end up winning.. It was much needed at this point. Now this deliberation was actually one of the times the rookies werent half brain dead. They send in Evan and protect Adam.. Which was like the only smart thing they did when it came to deliberations lol. This guranteed that one strong player would go home.. Kudos to rookies gor that. I'd say this was a crucial mission for the season.. Matter of fact I'd say this was a crucial episode for the whole season. This whole episode summarizes the season into what it was. You had the strong, obnoxious veteran team who had so many personalities it was hard to keep up, next to this weak, dumb, agile rookie team who could work together if they had a true leader.. Which in the episode & in the rnd prove to work out for the best for them. Lol I also love how johnny foreshadows the end in this episode.. Like he called big easys bluff before anyone else even thought about it.

#9 GIRAFFIC PARK (Inferno 3) Total of 53 points, average of 8.83 points, average placement 9, highest points 12 (5th place), lowest points 5 (12th place)
This challenge was simple in format. It was an individually timed challenge where each team would one by one uncover a cage that help a unique wooden giraffe sculpture, memorize what it looked like, and then go across a pond to a group of giraffes to find the matching giraffe to the one in their cage. Then they would bring it back and if they were right, their time would stop.
Similar to why I loved Don't Forget About Me in BOTE2, this challenge had a lot of things going on outside of the actual challenge. We got a lot of great moments from multiple cast members that were hilarious and/or carried on storylines in perfect ways. It began with Alton vs. Janelle and Alton ended up DQing once again putting it in the minds of his teammates that he isn't a greek god like he claims to be. We have Susie once again attempting to have Cara throw the challenge so she can save herself, and Paula once again is a badass this season and beats out Susie and all the guys freak out with her when she wins and Susie still expects sympathy when they all knew what she was doing. Like nah b*tch, foh. There was also the thing with Bananas figuring out that each giraffe had an etching on it's leg, and clearly told all of them what the secret was, but then of course Ace being the goof that he is, didn't hear and continued to be trash. Cara also tried to call Johnny out for not telling them soon enough and it actually was kind of shady that Johnny didn't yell it out to Ace, but did to the next person...first time we see Johnny being the c*nt he is today, just so he can have the scooter?? FINALLY and last but not least, we get Evelyn being a** at this challenge and throwing one of her classic tantrums. I was deaddd when she stomped up to her cage and yelled at TJ and was like "I CHECKED ALL OF THEM NONE OF THEM ARE THERE". Ev are you kidding? Like you know it's there, you just stupid. Angry Ev is gold this season and this is her second best moment aside from when she yelled at Aneesa.
Challenge-wise, this was a fairly simple format, but one that I don't remember seeing before and has been altered afterwards multiple times. The format of having to remember things to duplicate after is always cause for good drama and this challenge definitely delivered.

#8 Sunken Treasure (Duel) Total of 53 points, average of 8.83 points, average placement 9, highest points 13 (4th place), lowest points 2 (15th place) Sunken treasure, probably the OG version of air pockets in some sort of way. The mission was fairly simple as it was underwater one person dives to the anchor to get the combinations while the other person uses the codes from their partner to open the chest and with the pairs being CT/Diem, Evan/Jodi, Brad/Anessa, and Wes/Svetlana this should be a rae to see who does it the fastest right? Well the part of the mission was that they only could get air in an air pocket and only one person could go to each section along with there only being 15 minutes to do it. CT/Diem go Diem struggles to find the codes on the anchor so CT also goes to the anchors and gets them dqed (sidenote This leads to a CT confessional of him stating that this whole challenge no ones beating him he's simply beating himself which is a great piece of foreshadowing), Evan/Jodi goes and while Jodi handles it relatively well we see Evan struggle for air in the air pocket and going down to unlock the chest and they dq, then Brad/Anessa go and they do aright, but the dq on time by 5/6 seconds, Finally Wes/Svetlana go and they barely complete the challenge with less than a minute left. Overall this challenge was solid in every way, but in a way might represent a lack of standout challenges in this era but this challenge I still believe is very good and deserves being highly placed overall.

#7 AIRHEADS (Fresh Meat II) Total of 54 points, average of 9 points, average placement 8, highest points 15 (2nd place), lowest points 5 (12th place)
I really liked this mission so much because of the mission itself, rather than what happened during it like the other ones I've written about. The challenge is fairly simple. Each pair has to slide down a steep, long slip 'n slide and fly off into a lake where there is a solution for the enormous puzzle they have to solve back in the forest. The quickest time completing the puzzle wins. This is (in my memory) the original "go down something and fall into the water and then swim to something else" challenge and I really loved it. Sure, the slip 'n slide part was kind of irrelevant because most of them got a similar distance, but that doesn't defeat the fact that it was f*cking awesome and made me really jealous that I couldn't try it myself.
Aside from the challenge itself, there were still a few fun moments. Noor's jump in particular was awesome and rewatching this made me sad as hell again that he hasn't returned cuz the dude is a tiny beast. Also the fact that Landon and Carley win certainly makes the challenge better personally cuz Landon is the homie. Also, similar to my last write up we get another f*cking hilarious Evelyn fit throwing her life-vest I think, and stomping through the woods blaming her partner again. Never gets old lmao

#6 I Dig You Total of 63 points, average of 10.5 points, average placement 7, highest points 14 (3rd place), lowest points 7 (10th place)
I dig you was a really good challenge so f*ck all of you that didnt rank it higher. (including myself considering I ranked this before I even knew I would be writing about it) Anyways I Dig You, in my opinion is one of the best trivia challenge of all time. It wasn't your normal *stand over the water and fall into the water* trivia challenge, instead it was a team based quiz on how well you know your team mates. To start off one person was chosen as da digger. They had to go to each coffin and correctly answer 3 questions about their team mates in order to dig them up. *Going based off memory* I believe Evan was the first digger for the vets and Nehemiah was the digger for the rooks? Anyway the rooks started this challenge with a HUGE advantage.. because they had last team mates it means they would have to dig less people.. The funny thing is, Nehemiah did so f*cking bad at answering the questions, the advantage wasn't even used properly. The rookies just sucked a** man lol. all in all it was the best trivia challenge of all next, Captains Chair follows behind. but yea congrats to the missions that made top 5.

#5 All Shook UpTotal of 64 points, average of 10.6 points, average placement 7, highest points 16 (1st place), lowest points 4 (13th place) This mission was my personal favorite of this era. It was about time that we had a proper individual mission on The Duel 2 with this stacked cast. This also proves that, you don't need a huge structure over water to make a really good mission. Rachel losing to Paula by a photo-finish was a surprise because it showed that the strategy of this mission wasn't to shake the hell out of the rope. It also had a mini-elimination with Mark vs. Landon, this showed his superior skill. No problem for him to win the mission. Finally, the highlight was definitely Ruthie. Making honor to her top score status on Battle of the Sexes 1, here she is, 6 years later performing flawlessly in a physical mission. She could figure out how to tangle herself into the ropes making her opponents fall to the water without a sweat. Impressive! Such a shame that she had to go home after inevitably losing two partner missions and going in an elimination that didn't favour her. She could've gone far.
