i disagree. You CAN further yourself being disliked. Bad social game is still a social game to get you to the end. You just won't win I mean really then what's the point of furthering yourself if you can't win in that case? yeah I'm aware hahaha I just felt like arguing with Nate. But what I said is technically true, just the stupidest strategy one could have

That helps you more with recieveing votes at the end than getting to the end. People will usually realize that you're well liked and they will cut you for that because you'll steal votes. This is mike and the reason why he made it to the end was his physical game not because he was well liked. A good social game also means having people wanting to work with you, people trusting you, and people enjoying your presence around camp, etc... Being liked is only a part of it.

I don't think anybody was saying Mike made ftc because he was well liked, but won at ftc because of this. I don't even think Mike was being targeted for being well liked in the first place anyway.

That burned numerous bridges to people he made good ties with like Sierra and Dan.

That burned numerous bridges to people he made good ties with like Sierra and Dan. Sierra and Stan would've stuck with him making it easier to make moves plus he wouldve had Shirin also. His social game is average and probably pretty bad compared to most winners

He said he'd pay a certain amount to get a letter from home and after everyone already paid, he decided not go because he wanted to have the most money to get the advantage (think it casting two votes at tc)

I think the only winners with lackluster social games are Richard, Amber, Rob, Sophie.

Lol Rob was unlikable but succeeded in other parts of a social game. People trusted him and wanted to work with him. Not saying he has a good social game just that there's more than to being "likeable".

He said he couldn't be that person. But Dan still saw it as an awful human being move. Even though he took it back.

I really just count how jury members feel about them and who they win against, like JT and Kim beat so many people who make the jury in their seasons. People thought Sophie was arrogant and condescneding and people flat out saying in their jury speaks interview, they'd be open to voting for Phil of all people lol. And ya were agreeing there, I just find a lot of people think he became the huge target for other reasons.
