What Nate said, they convince the houseguests by giving them questions or making them second think some of their decisions. But it ultimately depends on how easily convinced the person is. It normally works in productions favor though.

Like in BB13, production actually convinced Lawon into thinking that him getting evicted may result in a special power in the game. Lawon then told everyone he was okay with being evicted because he had a feeling that he might be getting a "super power" in the game. Then Lawon had to face Brendan in a competition to get back in the game, and he lost of course because he's a dummy. Brendan won easily and got back in the game.

They wanted Lawon to face Brendan, because they knew Brendan would definitely beat him, because Lawon was just flat out dumb and sucked at competitions. This was their way of securing getting Brendan back into the house, after he won America's vote to get a chance to get back into the Big Brother house.

And supposedly, Dominic was supposed to win the vote, but production rigged it for Brendan. Dominic was dominating the vote in online polls and sites.

Derrick just found out about Zach telling Victoria that he had a final 3 alliance with Cody and Zach, and the Detonators alliance. He's so frustrated that he wants Zach out now. So do Cody and Caleb. Zach is officially on the outs.

Derrick also said things such as: he wants to beat's Zach's face in and wants to knock his teeth out. Derrick is now showing his true colors.
