Jon, what do you think the reasoning will be for who goes home tonight? Do you think it will be strictly strategical
- I think whoever goes home is well liked by the jury, which means yeah it'll be strategic. I don't think it's smart to keep someone here will win if they stay. - I don't know how I benefit by taking to the end. I didnt do much but I really didn't have too since my alliance was so strong and basically the people who are sitting on the jury handed us making it this far by basically not doing anything about our alliance.

Dewie, knowing you're in the finals now, how important is this vote to you, knowing you might vote to keep someone who could end up beating you tomorrow?I think that there are two people left that could beat me in the end... With that being said, my vote will be for the person I know will beat me in the end.... and that is really all there is to it Nathanial. Dewie, what's the likelihood that tonight's vote ends in a tie and we go to a tiebreaker? I do not see there being a tiebreaker here tonight. But if there is it won't matter to me, cuz I AM SAFE! *points to the jury* *points to his immunity*

Phil, what are the chances that you make it through this tribal council and get to the finals? Do you think the three favorites will stick together? -- I've always thought the favorites could stick together. They've never hidden their alliance. But a lot has been said over the last few days and whether anyone wants to admit it or not, we know its more than fans vs favorites; there have always been power struggles and major insecurities within that group.
Ashley, Phil, Jon, how do you think the other two finalists would benefit from you being in the finals as well as opposed to the other two up for possible elimination? -- I believe that no matter what I would be at a disadvantage in the finals, regardless of who I am sitting next to. The simple fact is that I do not know most of the jury and they do not know me. So I think that puts me at a disadvantage right from the get-go and that would be a benefit to the other finalists, of course.

Tribal Council #16: Shamu Tribe Reading the Votes
With that, it is time to vote. You cannot vote for Dewie, the other three are fair game. Ashley, you're up first.
Ashley gets up to vote, followed by the other three and then Nate goes to get the votes, returning shotly after.
Once the votes are ready the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes.
Nate pulls out the first vote.
Phil. One vote Phil.

Sixteenth person voted out of Survivor: Japan and the eight and final member of the jury...Phil.
Phil, please bring me your torch.
Phil grabs his torch and walks over to Nate.
Phil, the tribe has spoken.
Nate snuffs Phil's torch and Phil exits the tribal council area.
A first boot, a mid-game boot and a winner...certainly an interesting final three, and i'm sure you three are in for a whirlwind of a final tribal council tomorrow. Until then, congratulations, and enjoy yourselves until then. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.
