Mission: Moves and FactorsWelcome to your twelfth mission here on this season of the Ultimate Challenge: Retribution. Today, will be a different challenge from most others. It's something that each and everyone of you have never experience here on the show, that's for sure. It's a first. This mission you will all be playing in is "Moves and Factors", the Ultimate Challenge's version of "Chutes and Ladders". *Points at a large board game that is planted along the shore of the beach*. Yeah, it's gonna be gnarly.
This will take part in three heats of three. You can all assign yourselves which heat you want to participate in. The three winners of the three heats will then come head to head for a final battle, by playing all over again to win the mission this week.
Here's how the game goes down.
It will be live. The heats will take place on the threads. I will be posting a simple task or question.
Some of the tasks or questions can be:
- Name the seventeenth president of the United States. (full name)
- Post a picture of an apple.
- Name a superhero whose name begins with the letter A.
First person to lock in a correct answer on the thread per round will then get the power of moving pieces.
The pieces in this game are the players who are competing in that specific round. Just say Matt, Stefan, and Deni were playing and Matt locked in "apple" first in the round, he will say: I move 3 spaces. Deni moves 2. Stefan moves 1. Then the pieces would move.
Pieces can only move 1-3 spaces and in each round each piece must move differently (meaning two players can not move the same amount of spaces in a round).
However there are also factors in the game.
The factors are the following:
Space 5: Move Back 2 Spaces
Space 9: Move Forward 2 Spaces
Space 13: Space Warp (Only used once, first player to reach the spot will be given the opportunity to change positions with anyone in the game. He/she can also decide not to change positions if they are in first place.
Space 17: Zapped. Player who lands on this space will not move any spaces in the next round and will not be able to compete in the next question.
First player to get to the end of the board game will win their heat and move on the finals.

Expert what day/times are the heats? I think there will def. be a heat today, if three can get on. Monday, there will also be a heat because Brooke can get on Fri-Sun. Or you can create a time and hopefully I can work around it. I should be free a lot this weekend. |

You may have to do Monday, I think six out of nine will want to get it done by Saturday, unless they're willing to wait until Sunday.
