UC6 had a Ruins format with the voting system and I'd rather not go to that again. People didn't seem to enjoy it as much.

People wanted Rookies/Vets, but it would have still been unevenly matched.

That's why I switched it up just a tad and split up the Vets, but maybe with the right teams it could work.
