As I’m watching this, the three options
- Steal a vote - Nullifier - play an idol on a different person
You’d think that MAY ring some bells in deans head seeing as how Elaine needed that idol to stay he could’ve used it on her in the next tribal council
Dean and tommy have the best wiggle room to do stuff and i can see why he’d leave Elaine for tommy, but that also could’ve been a huge move in getting rid of a different player had the idol been used on Elaine

Also would've painted a HUGE target on Dean moving forward, he would have to basically win out in immunity.

So rumor is Dan slipped and lost his balance as he was getting onto the production boat right after the Immunity Challenge. In reaction to losing his balance, he immediately grabbed onto a production members leg to break his fall and avoid hurting himself. Another castaway, not named, confirmed this version of events.
Talk about a series of unfortunate events lmao. The one time where the guy is innocent of any wrongdoing, he gets scolded for it because his past behavior made production think it wasn’t just an accident when it really was.

Also CBS and Survivor are a bunch of a**holes.
Dan touches a cast member intentionally, no expulsion.
Dan touches a crew member accidentally in reaction to slipping and falling, now he gets kicked off the island.
Imagine how Kellee feels.

Idk if this is a hot take or not, but I think this season is one of the best in recent memory. All the characters (even the pre mergers) have brought something to the table in terms of the storytelling. Dan included, even if it’s for negative reasons only. On top of the characters all contributing, half the tribals have been larger than life and go outside of just Survivor. It’s really beautiful to see.
Rooting for Dean to come out on top — love his unusual charisma and unintentional ways of making the game exciting.
Noura has no shot of winning, but I love her character so much. Arguably my favorite female character the show has ever produced after Parvati 3.0.
Tommy’s golden boy edit makes me think he’s our winner this season. The edit has never been more crystal clear than it has been this season. If Tommy doesn’t win, we’re in for the biggest blindside Survivor has ever pulled on an audience.

Tommy doesnt have a big edit tho. I understand the winners edit thing but his presence isnt huge.. Look at Rick Devens last season. He had one of the most annoying edits in survivor history based on how much attention he was getting and he didnt win

Kellee was asked if she wanted Dan removed from the game along with the others. They all said no he was fine to stay. But I do believe he was 100% in the wrong. And should have been removed at the beginning even though they told production they didn’t want him removed. I’m also going to take a wild guess that it wasn’t a mistake fall. 🤷🏻♀️

Say "no" and they're enabling it and say "yes" and they're the people who "eliminated" someone for "no reason" to half the fan base.

I'm not gonna lie I've been drifting away from The Challenge and started watching survivor since DvG! I really don't know what to think about this season. When the season started it looked like we were going to have a female winner (Elaine getting away from that first tribal, Chelsea finding an idol) but either of the last 3 females left winning would be unorthodox to say the least. Maybe I can see Lauren winning over Tommy. This season deserves Noura winning just for the lolz (love her) but let's be honest here the jury ain't gonna vote for her.

If a castmare or a few can confirm Dans touching was in fact an accident, I wonder if he’s suing CBS for kicking him off. Would make since why the reunion is taped and why Jeff has said little on the matter. Doesn’t justify anything he did prior but that’s CBS fault for letting him continue after what Kelle addressed. I heard Dan, Elizabeth and Jack all weren’t at the reunion. Jack is dating Elizabeth which would make sense why he didn’t go.

i'm seeing a few castmates supporting Dan, and saying Kelle is blowing this situation way out of proportion. They're not disagreeing that Dan touched her, but her saying he's a sexual predator, etc is taking it too far.

I think it is lost a little bit in the shuffle that Kelle's original plan was to play up Dan's touching into tricking Missy and voting her out as well... So I guess it is hard to say how serious it was for her because she does later seem to be seriously affected.

I do find it hard to believe though that majority cast members are backing Dan. It's mostly the reason why the reunion is pretaped, so production can edit it however they want if they comment on the matter.
