Phil (Phil )
1. You mentioned a few times in confessionals that you wanted to go out in a big way like with an idol. How do you feel about the way you went out this time around?
2. There was a constant question about whether you or Ashley would take the other out and who would do it first, if at all. What were your plans as far as your alliance with Ash?
1. Yeah, I just didn't want to go out in a lame way. Overall, I'm still disappointed I went, because I chalk it up to pure laziness on my part in that I just got so tired of talking to E that I couldn't even be f*cked to lie or hide what I was doing. But I am happy that it took an idol to get me out. I didn't have any powers this season so I wanted to basically just try to bait idols or powers out as much as I could. I think early on I tried to get E to play his idol in some pointless way. It obviously didn't work, but as the game progressed, I just got tired of dancing around idols and powers and stuff, and I eventually adopted my motto of the season: #nofear2017. And basically that just meant that I didn't care if I made a mistake or voted in minority, or even if I was idoled out this season. Because I knew that if I had to go, it better be on a damn idol or power play. 2. I didn't really have plans to work with Ashley all that much going into this game. I knew she was working with everyone, because she was somehow involved in like every damn vote, even if she wasn't at the Tribal Council and I'm just like okay. I didn't even talk to Ashley much during the beginning because we weren't on the same tribes, like at all. But I was somehow roped into a "F3 alliance" snapgroup chat with E and Ashley, and basically that's when we really started to work together. I didn't intend to honor this F3 at all, since my ride or die was Jimmy, and I was gonna stick to that. But Ash and I just ended up working together really well, as always lmaoooo. I sorta hoped she would just get voted out before I had to do it because I'm lazy, but I also didn't think she'd actually wanna go to F2/F3 with me, since she was always lowkey protecting almost everyone at some point. As far as getting her out, yeah I wanted to eventually, but a good time never came up for me because I wanted some others to go first. Had I survived longer, I already had some plans to turn against her and had been discussing those plans with Jimmy. I'm not surprised at all that Jimmy turned on her. I guess Ash turned on me first, which I guess was kinda dumb considering she went out right after me. But I think had I survived, I would have tried to get her out eventually, maybe around the F6 or so. So I guess all in all, it doesn't matter who turned on who when, because I don't think either of us were destined for the FTC anyway.
