I am shaken in every core of every fiber of every cell of every strand of DNA in my body. I did not expect Jonas to be first boot at all. I mean, he had told me he was a target because of BB, but I didn't think they'd actually do it. This is the most I've been blindsided in two seasons of playing Survivor, and I wasn't even at tribal council.
I guess that's the Daring tribe for you. Holy hell, they sure aren't afraid to make huge moves. I don't know if Jonas just laid down and died or what, but that was so uncharacteristic of him to go out like that. This'll be the first time where I'm gonna really have to play a game without Jonas.
Man, oh, man. This is both good and bad, I think. It's good because I don't know how much Jonas trusted me after Big Brother. I think he thought he could use me once again to an extent, but I think he would've absolutely turned on me eventually.
It's bad because there are so many things related to his elimination that aren't outwardly apparent. For one thing, there's no way Jonas would've been eliminated if he hadn't played an incredible game of Big Brother. I'm hot off a win, so pretty much all eyes are on me now. Jonas's elimination also sets a precedent that challenge contributors don't matter this season. People will get rid of you if you're a threat, period.
Which means I have, have, have to do my best to win immunity. If I don't, I wouldn't be shocked if I'm 23rd. I really gotta think of what Jonas probably did wrong and that's probably not making good enough relationships early on in his tribe. I really gotta kick it up. I can't let people distance themselves from me.
I'm so nervous now, lmao. I don't have any core alliance yet. All I have is Kenny and Jacob as one-on-ones, with Jimmy quickly becoming a good pal of mine as well.
Jesus H. What the hell. Jonas is first boot.
Now we'll see how I am without Jonas watching over me for an entire season. I hope I don't disappoint. Golly.

So far, I think I've had pretty good luck in regards to who the Leeusers are voting out. First, they take out someone who I think is an amazing player, a thorn in my side, and someone who might've bogged me down in Jonas. Then, they take out Setsu who is literally the only person who actually had a problem with me. I told him he was a terrible player when he was on the jury, and he constantly wanted to see me voted out in India.
I love that the game continue on now with actually good players, and not just people looking for good reaction gifs in order to be #iconicqueens.
Setsu could not have gone soon enough, so, adios.
Maybe I should worry about myself tho now.

So, from the look of things...
Either a LOT of people are voting Lan tonight, or a LOT of people are lying to my face. Obviously it can be one or the other, but if this many people are lying to my face, then damn do I commend them, because not one person has leaked to me about anything other than Lan.
Usually, the way I like to approach these votes is by saying "if I hear two names, then it's probably not me". This isn't fail-proof, but it usually gets the job done and it definitely puts some assurance on my back. But, I've literally only heard Lan's name for tonight's tribal. Which simultaneously calms me and scares me. The reason is calms me is all based on the result: if Lan IS voted out tonight, it shows that our tribe was united and strong, which would be good for the dynamic of Khori. But the reason it makes me scared is based on the anticipation of the vote. If Lan's name is the only thing I've heard, then who would Lan vote for? And could Lan garner other votes to vote for that person?
Now, apparently, Lan and Alad have beef from their prior season. Kenny told me that, in the case of Lan having an idol, Lan would probably vote Alad. Okay, I think that's cool and all. But, Alad is still someone who I'd like to work with, so losing him early would be frustrating to say the least.
In a perfect world, every way that I vote would be the absolute majority: meaning one or two flippers couldn't turn the tables. Obviously, though, that's not gonna happen. From who I've talked to, straight up, with words that have been spoken by them. We have eight people confirmed to vote for Lan. Which is exciting. I haven't talked to Mark, either, but according to Kenny, he would also vote for Lan.
So if Lan has an idol? Ooh, boy. That'd be something else.
But, if everything goes to plan, Lan goes tonight, and our tribe is much stronger without him. Sorry Lan, bud. As long as it's not me.

So, funnily enough, it's either me or Alex leaving tonight. I don't know how Alex got word that I was the one to initially suggest him, or if he just made a lucky guess that I was the first one to say his name. If someone did tell him that I said his name, then that means there's a rat in the midst and I'm likely gone. However, from what people are telling me, I do have high hopes for this vote that Khori will make the right decision and keep me around.
I know I'm biased, but there's no real reason to take me out right now. I think I'm great in the challenges, and I really don't think I'm creating many enemies on this tribe right now. You can say that makes me a threat to win, but you use those points against me at the merge, not final 21. So, if I go, I won't be shocked, but I will be dumbfounded. I just genuinely think it'll be a stupid move if people turn on me, particularly people like Kenny, Jacob, Phil, or Alad.
I don't wanna be so arrogant to say that Khori would never win a challenge until a swap without me, but I think they would struggle greatly without me. I really do think I'm that valuable to the tribe.
And let me just say, if I got fourth boot, I would be absolutely heartbroken. I know I just won Big Brother and all, but man I really do wanna do well in this game. And to be cut so, so short in the 20s? That would be f*cking awful.
I can't say I didn't expect to be on the chopping block this early, because I kind of did. However, I think I have made good relationships to hopefully protect myself. I hope my allies will see how valuable I can be to their gameplay, by offering protection in the form of immunity and as a quality vote on their side.
Here's hoping everything goes well. If I'm voted out fourth, oh man, I will be extremely upset.
