I'd play if I didn't have to watch the Challenges to know. If the format changed, I think you guys could get a lot of new faces. I actually think that seems like a good idea. It'll be hard to come up with some forum games that involve knowledge and skill though. We can still have a challenge format with non challenge related competitions. I mean I did say, it would be a new era. Yeah, I think if you guys changed the challenges, but kept the base format (the teams, the eliminations) it would seem like a cool new game to play. You could advertise on ProBoards and get some new faces that are interested. |

I just know a lot of vets are taking a break or they are done for good so that's why I think it's best to end it after this season.

I agree with Mer. Just put longer breaks in between so teres more time to get new members. Survivor and Big Brother are already there to give the people who don't know challenge stuff a chance to play forum games. I don't see any need to end the UCs.

a year is too long to wait. Brooke isn't planning to start UC8 until November-December. That's several months to get new players. I also agree with outlast, we could maybe try making it less challenge related.

The people that would actually be new to the UC's wouldn't think that they needed to watch the challenge at all in order to good well. It's not like they can only watch two seasons of the challenge and be automatically good. It would be difficult making a UC with it only be some challenge related with people who didn't know much about the challenge I think. I think if they were to make it different it would have to be not challenge related at all.

Exactly, and when Survivor starts, I recruit people. Tommy also recruited people for Big Brother. The forum games help get new members. It gives them a reason to join the site...
We don't decide to start new forum games because we have members who want something to do. It's the opposite.

Holly, Shiloh, Kailey, Nany, CTScan, Tre6, tayvie, Jenny all were active or joined the site because I asked them to do Survivor. There's no doubting that forum games are what get new members. Even if some of them aren't active anymore, the forum games are what got them to be active on the site.
I think we can also add rbiash to that list. She wasn't active I don't think until Survivor 1 started.
