There was supposed to be a Taylor Swift concert here tonight, but because of the popularity of my next guest. Taylor Swift's concert was moved to a parking lot in Camden.

Nate I'm glad to see you here, but at the same time I wish I didn't have to interview you. Did you honestly expect to leave this early?

To answer your question, I definitely did not expect to leave that early. I honestly didn't think I'd win though. I had too much riding on my shoulders with the whole "Nate's made every final" thing and I knew my time was coming to have the feeling of going home before the final. While I expected to leave at some point, I did not expect to be screwed over by my alliance/my friends. It was bullsh*t, and they know it just as much as America knows it, and I can't wait till they screw each other over in the coming weeks, because I'll be waiting here to laugh at them.

Well there was an alliance that was made before UC7 started, over on the old site. There was a lot of gossiping going on and Brooke thought everyone was basically against her, and I was even told the same thing about myself. So between the moderators, we agreed to have each other's backs over anyone. I agreed to it, because it was between the mods and also Dara, DB and Alice, so I didn't have to worry about screwing over DB or Dara.
I figured that neither Dewie or Brooke would ever vote me out because, well, they said, verbatim, that they wouldn't. I think deep down, the reason they voted me out was because like everyone else in the game, they were trying to get out anyone who was a threat to them. I love rbiash to death, but I knew I wouldn't keep her over Dewie or Brooke because they were my alliance, and regardless of friendships, that comes first because I swore loyalty to them. Brooke's vote hurt the most though because I had her back when nobody else did and after she kept telling me everyone was against her and she had nobody, I told her I'd have her back. Dewie always seemed distrustful of me for whatever reason, so it wasn't as huge of a deal, but I still thought he'd keep his word.

Yeah Brooke's vote had me thinking wtf as well. You defended her when everyone was against her and you even got made fun for it. b*tches be wylin.
You are a pretty seasoned vet and you have only missed one season What was your opinion of UC7?

I loved the format. It's no secret I have a love for the Island so I was really excited for this season. I loved my team because we were very underrated, but we had great team dynamic and I wasn't stuck with any drama queens or a**holes. So once the teams were set, I was excited to hopefully do well as a team and shock a few people. We didn't do amazing, but we did our best.
The only thing I didn't like about UC7 was the way people don't really have any real loyalties except for a couple. It's basically, "I'm friends with everyone so now I can vote off anyone and not feel bad" and "I'll vote off anyone who's good" which isn't usually how the UCs are played. They're played with a little more dignity and respect, but I understand why it was done. It was just a big wtf moment when I realized people were going to play this game a lot more dirty than we usually play the UCs.
The missions were fun though and Expert's doing a great job so far, even though people yell at him a lot.

The past couple weeks we have seen Kaitlyn, DB, Jamie, and yourself get voted off the island. Do you think that rookie are just trying to make a name for themselves or vote off the strongest players?

No, I think it's just alliance vs. alliance at this point. It's really never been a team game in UC7. Everyone is looking out for their alliance members and playing nice with their team. I wish it wasn't that way, but that's how it is. I don't see many teams actually sticking together. It'll kind of be like "See ya, nice knowing ya" once they all merge together. I hope I'm wrong though. I'd like the remainder of Green and Blue to somehow work together. Team Underdogs.

I think they could do very well. This whole season Green has been overlooked, in missions and a few times in voting. People underestimate them and they could definitely use that to their advantage. I never thought I'd be rooting for YoungMark since we didn't get along on UC5, but I really do hope him and Alaina pull out a win in the end or at least make the final. I think they're stronger than people give them credit for so I bet they can pull it off.

Yeah if YM could stay consistent he would be a pretty good challenger and Alaina is a solid competitor as well. While people never thought you would be rooting for the other co-creator of DN more people thought you would never get eliminated. You have made it to the final of every season and only lost once. How weird was it to get eliminated?

It's a new feeling haha, the only thing that saddens me about being eliminated is that I'm going to miss out on missions. That's always been the best thing for me about making it to the end each time because missions are so fun to do. I'm cool with being eliminated otherwise though. Never getting eliminated was never like a life goal for me. It just happened lol.

And it sucks that you got eliminated on an Island forum game ahaha. A hot topic on the UC message boards is the format of the next UC. If you were in charge what format would you choose? Also what is your favorite style to play. Team or Individual?

If I were to pick the format for the next UC, it would be Rivals. I think there's a lot of good rivalries on this site and since people like me, Brian, Brooke and Ken all have multiple rivalry possibilities, there'd be wiggle room to make rivalries more even instead of say putting Brooke with JC or Ken with me. There's many possibilities so it'd be good I think. It'd mess up alliances too.
My favorite would probably be Team format as far as gameplay because it's fun to have people on your side no matter what and any team I've been on in the past, we've bonded well and become great friends. Competition wise though, definitely Individual because nobody's holding you back and there's nobody to blame but yourself.

I expect Dara to for sure be in the end. She's better than everyone left competitively speaking and has a soul which will help her get far socially as well. I'm also going to guess rbiash because everyone loves her. Kenny might manage to get to the end because alliances will turn on each other.
If I had to guess a final six, it would be Dara, Kenny, Rbiash, Alice, Brian and Andrew. But anyone could win, and hopefully I'm partially wrong because I want Green team to make it to the end.

1. Favorite season you were on and favorite victory Favorite season I was on is definitely UC2. We had a ton of fun and it was so active. I wish seasons now were like that, and I really don't know why they aren't. Favorite victory is easily UC5. It's very rewarding to know you beat out 12/13 great competitors and it was all done by your own abilities. 2. Favorite moment on the UC When Blue team rebelled against Expert during UC4. It was pretty comical and Blue team on UC4 is definitely my favorite team ever. 3. Thoughts on the following castmembers Brooke: I'll forgive her soon enough, but I'll never trust her like I did on UC7 ever again. She screwed me over big time and I try not to be mean usually, but I hope her and Dewie don't make the final. I want them to get their comuppance or whatever that's called. Alice: She's my Survivor prodigee and I'll always have a soft spot for her. It's sad that people thought I was forming some sort of alliance with her that meant more than the mod alliance that I swore to in the beginning. Didn't know defending a friend when they're right and getting treated badly meant that I'm betraying my friends, but the point is, she was right in being mad and I defended her because she's a good friend of mine and she didn't deserve that. Jamie: Me and Jamie are good friends after UC7. We've grown to love each other over the past few seasons and she was definitely one of my favorite people on that island. We formed an unlikely friendship and I love our love/hate relationship lol Jgrubs: Good friend. I have no hard feelings towards him. He voted to keep rbiash and while I was hoping he would vote to keep me, we just haven't been as close recently and it sucks but I still think Jon's cool, people just don't understand him and his obnixousness until they get to know him. I find it hilarious. Kenny: We always clash. It's like a given for the UCs, and it's fun to have a little healthy rivalry with him and it almost wouldn't be the same if I was on a forum game without him bashing me or going against me. 4. You are in charge of creating a Harry Potter mission. What is the mission? Quidditch for sure! I'd beat the sh*t out of everyone with my beater club >  5. Where's Alistar? I've grown to coexist with another dominating alliance and have accepted that there's a new power alliance in the UC world. DNK's getting old and we need a new alliance to take over for us  |
