per your rules, this was not possible. The most points that could trade hands in an hour were 4 points.. if a team successfully broke down grays pyramid, that is a point that the orange team couldnt have scored themselves so its a wash. IDK what you are suggesting could have happened.

When i did my (albeit quick) math this morning it came out to orange winning if every hour resultes in +4 for them or -4 for gray (or any combination resulting in a 4 point swing between the two teams). Maybe my math was wrong. Is it really that big of a deal that the mission didn't end at 10am?

I did the math for you, there was a 48 point lead or a 12 hour lead (4 point swing every hour), there was not 12 hours left in the mission.
