Okay doing what Nate did a little. Kind of.
Order of seasons of my favorites - I don't really wanna write reasons out on mobile but I may edit them in later.
1. Borneo - to me just cannot be beat. In terms of making the game what it is today. Just incredible.
2. Africa - the cast alone jumps this over Marquesas for me. And the location was so breathtaking. But other than that I see them as equal seasons.
3. Marquesas - memorable for sure after watching a second time.
4. Australian Outback - I just love this location as well and the cast and the elements they survived through. More characters on this season than most I enjoyed.
5. Thailand - not as boring as I remember for sure but the other 4 just edge it out. Chuey Ghan coming back as the underdog is a true feat and was awesome to watch again.
1. Richard Hatch
Where Nate and I differ. Hatch is the one that turned this game into a strategy madhouse. They didn't know what this would turn into going into this, but Rich sure did. He knew exactly where to place himself and his observation skills were tops. He knew the game before it essentially was a game. His strategy was almost flawless. I know he said he didn't know he would be taken to the end by both Kelly and Rudy, but secretly he did. He was so good he let them compete to take him. And that's crazy town. He can't be beat to me.
2. Brian Heidik
Brian was also very UTR at the beginning. But knew what he was doing. As per Nate - He played his entire tribe like puppets and despite the fact that they called him out in confessionals, nobody ever entertained the fact of taking him out. Watching it back I'm actually shocked he won in the the end and was still able to convince the majority of the jury, especially Helen. But the season as a whole is very underrated
3. Tina Wesson
Tina's social game is one of the best in Survivor history easily (also stolen from what Nate said). She doesn't stand out strategically really, but watching her FTC speech again she nailed it. She took the aspects from the game - Outwit, Outplay, Outlast and turned it into a brilliant speech. Proves it doesn't just take skill and performance to make the end.
4. Ethan Zohn
Looking back Ethan was very likable and I think that's what helped him mostly. He wasn't a huge comp threat seeing as Lex was winning left and right, but it was an interesting win for sure. Nate said exactly how I feel "He did pick the right people to trust and align himself with though, and he had a good enough social game to get him to the end, and there were definitely strategic moves he made throughout the game." But his moves don't stand out to much in comparison to the other winners.
5. Vecepia Towery
I do agree with Nate on how she was very underrated for sure. A very under the radar game from Vecepia when it comes to alliances. Probably one of her better moves was voting with the other tribe to take out Boston Rob, since the game could have been way different had Sean gone that night instead. She did get lucky a little because at a time it seemed Paschal and Neleh weren't going to switch over so she owes them for being there in the long run. But she did win near the end where it counts. I definitely give her credit even though she's the last on my list as well.
Awards

Memorable Moments
*Assumptions Episode (pre-merge Shii Ann's downfall)

*Ted asking Clay to define racism
*Clay getting water once out of 39 days
*Chuey Ghan's come from behind victory after losing 3 members in the first 4 tribal councils
*Family eating bugs for Survivor castaways instead of castaways competing.
