Ashley. You should know that you're an absolute b*tch. Over the course of our (few) conversations, I genuinely did not enjoy talking to you. You very clearly think you are hot sh*t and I hate that in a person. However, I will admit that you played a great game. Over the past two tribal councils, you eliminated the two biggest jury threats so clearly you are not as stupid as Jon so congrats on that. Anyways, tell me why Dewie is a jacka** and shouldn't win this game. Then trash talk about Jon. Because this jury question is my last chance to speak, I'm gonna make it all about myself. This question is for both Dewie and Ashley. Why the f*ck would you want to get rid of me at the final 7 over a legitimate threat (and for that matter, tre at final 6)? We were loyal to you, so it's not like you had to be worried about us voting for y'all. In otherwise well-executed games, it seems weird that you guys would vote out people like me and tre before the bigger threats in the game. Plus I'm still f*cking bitter so this is your chance to apologize xoxo I'm actually kind of sad and shocked to hear that. I'm thinking back on our conversations and I'm not sure where the "hot sh*t" is coming from. I for the record do not think I am "hot sh*t" but you are completely entitled to your opinion. I'll take the b*tch comment. I can be a b*tch.. but so can you apparently haha But never did I intentionally mean to be an a**hole. You can ask anyone on the site around here.. it's just kind of my personality to crack jokes all the time. I never mean it to come from a malicious place. Some of you fans seem a bit modest. You WERE A LEGITIMATE THREAT.. to both me and the other favorites. Over the course of this game the thought did run in the back of my mind … do we really want to be sitting next to a fan in the end? If a fan makes it to the end, will they probably win? For the same reason we took out Phil, I think the answer is yes. You were also a beast at competitions and you are very likable. That is an absolute threat to me. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. I saw you having the potential to make it to the end and win this just like Phil. I actually wanted you out first at tribe swap because I looked at you as the ring leader of the fans. But, then because of Phil we fell into an alliance with you. Once again like I've stated before, I had to change my opinion and adapt to the game. Then it got to final 7. I had Kenny and Jon who were not good at competitions. I had a great relationship with Tre. Dewie was my b*tch. Then there was just you and Phil. Two newbies who were huge threats to me in the end. I just happened to have a stronger relationship with Phil. So it's completely understandable that you are bitter. I probably would be too. I just hope that you can look past it. Also to counter his argument about why I shouldn't win… You can even ask Nate... I threw competitions and even asked him to purposely DQ me at times. Well except for that last mission… that was the first one I actually tried on and I just legit sucked a** at the word search On my first game I won a sh*t load and I was the target week after week. I decided early on that with so many good competitors that I could be in the middle of the pack missions wise and I could allow others to make themselves targets. As for the final question you ask.. why should I win over Dewie? Every decision I made and tried to make happen was to position myself the best that I could at the end. I don't think its stupid to want to take the people you feel you have a better shot against. Again, my one downfall in this game was taking Dewie but once again that's not a relationship I would sacrifice for this. So I did the next best thing that I could do and that was take out Kenny and then Phil. I recognized qualities in both of them that would make a jury vote for them. I was dead set on getting out Kenny. I went out on my own and butchered the first attempt and then with Phil was able to have success. Dewie I feel misjudged and either thought he would have no issue winning over Kenny or he was just simply refusing to make a move on him because they are now boyfriend and girlfriend and coworkers on the UC.

Dewie you misunderstood what I meant. I meant that you were nicer than Ashley in PMs, but were terribly awful awful awful in the public thread. I worded that sentence weird, but you seem to have answered everything. EDITED TO ADD: ALSO ALL THREE OF YOU LIST THREE QUALITIES YOU ADORE ABOUT ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU 1. you iz smart 2. you iz kind 3. you iz important

But did you once try talking to me either? NO! I'll admit I didn't make an effort but neither did you or anyone else accusing me of not talking to any of you. And with my alliance talking behind my back, it was probably mostly Kaitlyn and she's a b*tch anyway so idc. I didn't f*cking ask you a question just shut up and let the finalists speak.

Yes but I don't believe I should lose survivor because I didn't finish a word search a couple minutes faster….

Yes but I don't believe I should lose survivor because I didn't finish a word search a couple minutes faster…. But it would have caused you to lose. Phil would be here and he would win this going away, we both know that.

Thanks Gabe.
Nate stands up.
Now that the jury has been able to say their pieces and hopefully got the answers they were looking for to make their decision, we're going to go back to the finalists. Each of you may give the jury your closing statement, and then the eight of you will go and cast your vote for the person who you think deserves to win the million dollars and the title of sole survivor.

Oh hell no I am not done after a few if these comments . Dewie you keep acting like your biggest move was beating me in the final challenge. Like you're looking for validation that OMG thankfully dewie was there to beat phil in the final challenge! Thank god he didn't make it to the finals because he would have won! We wouldn't want a sh*tty winner would we? Tell me why me winning that final challenge would have been bad for the game overall you're painting yourself as a hero and I'm pretty sure you're the villain

I played this game the best way I knew how. That was to use my strengths. My strength is a social game. I played all sides. I had to take my game from Survivor 1 and adapt my game to the new players I was playing with. I had deals and side deals and multiple alliances. I made sure I had all my bases covered at all times. I know how this game works. Things turn upside down in an instant. Whether it be an idol, or the wrong person wins immunity, or someone gets backstabbed, or an alliance member flips. You have to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and come out on top. I did that.
I knew from day one I didn’t want to be in the end with the core five favorites. I knew that I had to develop other relationships if I didn’t want to just coast to the end with that group. That is where I believe they fell short. With the exception of Kaitlyn, they all failed for the most part to develop relationships with any other people because they were in power and felt they didn’t have to. (Dewie’s only exception is he built a relationship along with me with Phil and Gabe to ensure safety post tribe swap) You can argue that you didn’t make relationships so you didn’t have to feel bad backstabbing people later. (If you are using that as a reason to give someone a win then you should probably consider Jon as well) I argue that I had to make relationships and deals (whether I ended up honoring them or not) to guarantee myself the position I am in right now. I knew what needed to happen and I knew what I needed to do to get myself in the best end situation possible. I have seen the word “fake alliance” and “fake relationship” thrown around a bit lately in reference to me. I never made a fake alliance or relationship. I made several relationships and several alliances. I don’t even really think you can make a fake alliance. The question is just whether or not you stick to them and remain true. It was simply, I rolled with the punches and went with whoever or whatever alliance or whatever decision I felt was going to benefit me most at the time and get me the furthest. People can look at that as me being a disloyal a**hole. I see it as me being strategic and playing the game. This is what survivor is all about.
I was careful not to bring this up in my jury answers and my opening, because I don’t think this is a reason that I should solely win for. But I do think on top of the strength of my social game and my ability to have made moves to secure myself in a better position in the finals, it is definitely something to consider when you are voting. I’ve won this game before. Coming into this as the only previous winner, I theoretically should have had a very long and hard road ahead of me. But just like Outlast previously stated in his questioning, I was never really a target. I was in a very good position for the entire game. The one time I was a target was because Kenny found out I was out for his blood at the final 6 vote. You have to ask yourselves, why? Why didn’t you come after me? Why didn’t you boot my a** out of here? I don’t think I’ve made it here twice by accident. I don’t think I’m here twice by luck. I think I played the game. I know I f*cked over some people and I understand that it’s hard to try and look past it. I just ask that you try. If you think that Jon or Dewie played a better game then by all means vote for them. I LOVE this game and I had a lot of fun on this one. This game gave me the opportunity to make friendships with some pretty f*cking cool newbies. No matter the outcome, I had a blast and it was worth it. Thank you! P.S.. oh yeah and Phil and I got out Kenny... HOLLA

I think that ashley and I are both villains in the eyes of the jurors and Jon is irrelevant. I was saying that I saved the game for Ashley and myself because you would have beat us. I am not saying it would have been a bad thing for survivor if you made it to the end and won, but you making it to the end would have been bad for Ashley and me. I in no way was saying you would have been a sh*tty winner.

I am going to make this a little bit shorter than Ash made her's. I played the game as straight up as I could, if I made a relationship with you, it was because I genuinely wanted to establish a relationship. I never made a relationship just to further myself in the game. Ashley can say she threw all of the competitions but that is a cop out in my opinion, it is like when the cool kids in gym class are not good at a sport so they make a total a** of themselves so they can say they didnt care later. Ashley's big moves were apparently getting out Phil and Kenny. I honestly do not think Kenny would have beat us in the end so that move was not super big in my eyes, I would have rather just still been cool with Kenny in the finals. And her getting Phil out you cannot really even credit to her, I was voting Phil because I felt a certain way explained earlier. Jon was going to vote Phil because he knew like me that Phil would win at the end. So Ashley's options were to tie the vote between Jon (someone who is irrelevant at the end) or voting Phil. I do not think she deserves credit for Phil's vote off. Anyways, I think that is all I have to say. Thanks.
