Tribal Council #1: Chie Tribe Dramatic music plays as the ten favorites walk up to the tribal council area which looks like the ruins of a Japanese pagoda. They walk inside and each grab a torch from the back.
Grab a torch from the back and dip it in and get fire, because as you all already know very well, in this game, fire represents your life.
They all dip their torches into the fire and then set them in the back and sit down.
Once your torch is out and the fire is gone, so are you.
Favorites, here we are at the first tribal council of the season. I can't say that was a close battle that landed you all here, and I'm sure you all aren't feeling great right about now. That was a bad loss to come back from, but maybe this tribal is what you all need to get back to playing like people who have played before. Tonight, this tribe will be down to nine players, even again with the Fans. But before you all vote, time to talk some things out.
Ashley, how big of a threat do you think you are seen as in this game? You're the only winner in this game. Has that even been brought up in any way?
Dewart, does performance in the challenge have any affect on how the tribe is voting do you think? After all, there are only two people here who got points up on the board for this tribe. Does that mean anything in voting tonight?
Jhon, you're known in this game for keeping it real, so I'll ask you the question people don't like answering. How much strategizing has been going on around camp? Have a lot of alliances been forming, lying, sneaking around, etc...
Jon, what was so frustrating for you about how the pairings were constructed for today's challenge? You seemed pretty adamant about that process being a reason why the tribe did poorly.
Kaitlyn, what are your thoughts on your tribe's communication thus far? Is the strength or lack of strength of your tribe's communication an issue that is important in taking care of, in your opinion?
Kenny, what is this vote coming down to as far as the reasoning goes? Is it based on challenge performance, relationships, communication, idol threats, what?
Kyle, Do you think the relationships that some of you have with each other in your original games will have an effect on how voting will go tonight and/or in future tribal councils for Chie?
Outlast, how many alliances do you think are actually in effect right now? You all seem to be aligned with everyone, and nobody seems to be on the same page? Is this just because you're all liars or is it just hard to decide who to actually go with this tribal council?
Stan, as one of only two people on this tribe to get points, do you feel like this will be helpful in keeping you safe tonight, or do you think that challenge performance is even very important to this tribe when voting?
Tre, is this tribe in any way an actual cohesive tribe? Because to me it seems like it's just a bunch of individuals who are ready to pick each other off one by one. How well does this tribe actually work as a tribe in your opinion?

I'd say quite a bit and rightfully so, it is the first TC and people don't really know if they csn trust people because alliances are still so new. I mean, someone could tell you one thing and then vote you out. After this TC, a line will be drawn in the sand and you're either in the majority or minority.

I mean, there's probably a couple Nate. This isn't amateur hour here, it's nobody's 1st rodeo on this side. We all know how to play this game, we all came in with experience, people now what a good, strong alliance can do. I'd be shocked if their aren't a couple already in place, but to sort of contradict that I do think we're a tight 10 as well. None of us want to leave, I don't think any one of us actually want to write a name down tonight, but that's the way of the game. I don't think any one of us expected to go to Tribal 1st, or, honestly, get whooped in that challenge. Some probably didn't think we'd go at all. We all wanted to kick these fans to the curb, but they came to play. Everybody could be lying, everybody could be telling the truth, this is Survivor, there's almost no way of knowing, and there's no way of being 100% sure on anything. We'll just have to wait for the votes and see what happens.
