They just need to do a Marauders movie if JK is not giving us a prequel.

Random, but I just recently realized how Harrys parents were like not actually a big deal. I always thought they were really important figures in the wizard community, but they're kind of irrelevant and weren't even aurors and were fairly young when they died.

Actually his dad was a chaser but liked playing with the snitch to show off.
James and Sirius got that pure blood money so they didnt even work. I dont think they would work for the ministry anyway, they'd probs think their rules were lame. The order was perfect for them.

They're well known because of Harry basically.

Them being rich and Harry having the life he did is actually really ironic in a tragic sort of way.
It would be cool if we all did a discussion topic every week or so.

Ok I'll start: What do you think of Snape as a character? I feel like they overhype him as such an amazing person when like he wasn't? He sacrificed a lot, but was still a bitter person overall and I feel like people try to paint him as something that he isn't.

I don't know if it was so much him being bitter as much as him trying to blend in with the role he was given to protect Harry though. It's not like he could have awarded Harry points, and etc without giving it away. If there wasn't a voldemort issue I think Snape would of been another father figure to Harry along with Sirius. I see him as an unsung hero throughout the series that we don't know until the very end. Which makes him a remarkable character IMO

He's very complex and an interesting dude to dissect but I also dont get the obsession with him. Dudes an a**hole and his fans like to think he was a saint. I sorta like him but all of those obsessive snape fans make me dislike him. Doesnt help that I'm a marauder fan also. I think the main thing is everyone falls victim to a love story and people tend to root for him and forget all of the negative things hes done in life.
