It was still good, just at the bottom of movies I'd want to watch again or books I'd want to read again. That goes for Sorcerer's Stone, too. I feel the series really picked up with Prison of Azkaban. I'm very opposite with my opinions... I always think the first ones are the best.

I think it was the change of directors definitely between Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban. Yates and the directors who did 3 and 4 took a darker approach to the films. But I glad 1 and 2 were more light hearted than the others because they were 11 and 12 in those stories so they're still little kids haha

I loved the dark feel of the 3rd and 4th movies. But Nate your right about the lightheartedness of the first two.

Did anyone else sob like a damn baby at the end of the very last one just because it was all over? My mother and I were a complete embarrassment crying through the entire thing.

I almost cried on the drive home from seeing Part 2 because I knew there was nothing left HP wise to look forward to. It was like half my childhood was officially done

I was depressed for a good week after realizing it was all over. I was rewatching all the old trailers, movies, and reading the books again, lol.

The weekend that the last movie came out was the day after my 21st birthday, so my friends and I drank before going to see the midnight showing. Cried the entire movie. Had to go rewatch it so I could hopefully not cry the entire way through. So, yeah....cried a ton. And I've yet to go to the theme park. I'm so jealous of every person who has.

I've read the entire series about eight times. I think I've read it about 5 times. Anyone else a big Bellatrix fan? Or just a big Death Eater fan in general? Everything about them is so evil, it's awesome.

Bellatrix was a very interesting character and Helena Bonham Carter was perfect to play her! She did the character justice.

I take them with me on every vacation/long car ride.

I'm sort of in love with Bellatrix and HBC. She's fabulous. It's funny to think that she almost wasn't going to play her. The lady that plays Narcissa was originally set to play Bellatrix while Helena would be Narcissa, but the chick got pregnant so they had to swap roles.

I'm sure this is said a bunch too, but it's pretty cool how strong females are in this series too. Hermione was always the smartest of her class, Bellatrix was one of the stronger Death Eaters, Molly was always a strong woman who protected her children, Professor McGonagall, Umbride as the ultimate b*tch. List goes on.

I always hoped for a prequel with Harry's father. I always found the Marauders really interesting. James and Sirius were like Fred and George but also really brilliant.
Bellatrix Lestrange is awesome, I thought she was so BA.
