This is the first episode I've watched all season...was so nervous Hayden would get voted out. I don't like Monica, Ciera, Tyson, or Gervase. I liked Caleb and Hayden...but I guess I just like Hayden now. Katie is just sort of there, probably has a good shot at winning because nobody seems to notice/mind her. Ciera's mom seems annoying. I always liked Tina. As soon as I saw Tyson I said "what the hell is THAT?" He's so gross.

Boooo they both suck as survivor players. Katie is terrible and I love her. <3 Oh yeah, I forgot you have to be the strategic alpha and the editor's pet to be good enough to win. No need to work with alliances while building and maintaining relationships to ensure you get to the end and win jury votes. TinaEthanVecepiaJennaSandraAmberChrisDanniArasEarlBobJ.T.NatalieSandra2.0FabioSophieDenise ^Who the hell are these people?^ Outwit, Outplay, Outlast is the name of the game not do nothing and get jury votes because people think you are cooler than someone.

Uh hello everyone who makes the final did that. When a challenge beast wins, they get called a great player. When a strategic mastermind wins, they get called a great player. When a social expert makes sure they're always in the majority and gets themselves to the end while ensuring the votes necessary to win the game, they get called 'undeserving.' The funny thing is, that is the ONLY objective, getting to the end and getting enough jury votes to win. The rest is a self-contained game within each individual season. There's not a single thing in the Survivor rulebook that says you have to be the dominant alpha with a giant ego playing god for 39 days. One of the three ways to play and win doesn't make for good TV, but that doesn't mean it's not a legitimate way to Outlast everybody else and win a million dollars, over half of the winners have a million reasons that states their case well enough.

That's not what I am saying at all. I am just saying people who just play for second and just want to make it to the end like Natalie do not deserve to win.
Most of the time someone is considered to be playing the social game they are actually just laying around doing nothing. They only end up winning because their master played too ruthless and the jury is butt hurt about that.

What Laura did to Vytas was absolute bullsh*t and I would not have handled that with near as much grace as he did. It's one thing when people help others in immunity challenges because it doesn't mean the other person is going home, but Laura just ended Vytas' game when he was supposed to get a fair shot...lame.
That was a great episode though, first episode that was actually unpredictable and interesting post-merge. I think Ciera was playing a very good game up until what she did this last episode. If she make the final 3 though, I think she'd get the Sherri treatment (someone who controlled a lot of what happened, but gets no credit by the jury). I wish she had gone with the newbies though. It's like every season with returning players, there just has to be the idiots who ruin the newbies chances at doing well and making the end over the vets.

I had no problem with Laura helping Tina win. It is a choice that Laura made for her game, if vytas is a bigger threat and she could eliminate him by helping tina i say go for it. All of you Vytas lovers are just salty. Can we just discuss the big thing that may happen, Gervase turning on Tyson? that would be crazy!

"I think it's important that people are constantly reminded of the reality of our situation; there's nothing fair about this." ~ Jerri Manthey, Survivor: The Australian Outback Episode 9. Laura wants an easy path back into the game, so if she can string Tina along as long as she can and help Tina to eliminate the more threatening challenge competitors so that she has a much greater chance of re-entering the game, then props to her, that's incredibly smart of her. This isn't a nice game, it never has been and never will be.

I know all that, but it's still bullsh*t and if I was Vytas I would never talk to Laura again. She just cheated him out of a possible million dollars.

I lost all respect for Laura after doing that! And the thing I hate about Cieras game is she's playing for second place because she won't beat Tyson. So if she's happy with second then fine but she's basically his puppet

She'd have no problem beating Hayden and Caleb because they haven't done much and they do need to get Katie out before it's too late because she will have a lot of jury votes. I'd like to see Katie, Tina and Laura at redemption then Katie or Tina screw Laura how she screwed Vytas

Can someone explain Redemption Island to me? Like how do they decide if Tina or Laura comes back?

This season will be disappointing if Katie, Ciera, or Tina wins.

I like everyone left in the game except for Monica and Laura. I kinda dislike Tyson too.

Katie or Tina winning would be a disgrace to the show because they've done NOTHING! Tina has done less than nothing if that's possible because she couldn't even win on redemption without help

I would have done the same thing Laura did, honestly. Was it shady, b*tchy, and rude? Yeah, but it's game and Vytas is tough competition. I don't blame the way Vytas reacted to Laura trying to say goodbye either, though.
I just hope we really do see Tyson targeted and sent to RI next week, since all signs were pointing towards this happening last night, but didn't. It'll be a boring few weeks if Tyson/Monica/Gervase run things.

Can someone explain Redemption Island to me? Like how do they decide if Tina or Laura comes back? They'll send the people voted out their until the episode before the finale. Then they'll have a 3 person duel where only 1 person wins, that person gets back into the game, the other two go to jury. For now only 1 person goes home, 2 people stay on RI.
