Varner made a mistake obviously but idk it was clear he was sorry for saying it, I think that Sarah being mad at him the most afterwards is a bunch of crap. And what do people expect CBS to do about it exactly? that is what happened, it was crucial to the episode for it to make sense. They just not gonna air a tribal council and say "hey varner left". Nah, Zeke definitely knew there was a chance of that coming out when he agreed to go on the show.

basically all sarah was saying was how she grew up in a area where it was mainly white/straight people and that she was surprised with herself that she didn't react in a different way towards Zeke... please you don't get brownie points for acting how any normal person should.

Dude Sarah said the most important piece of the night. It's not about her getting brownie points, they were all asked to comment, it's like y'all think she was like "Um Jeff wait I would like to make this about me and talk about my life" she literally just answered Jeff and talked about something that probably makes a lot of viewers think about how unimportant something like being transgender actually is when judging someone as a person. Sarah's moment with Zeke at tribal was easily the best thing to come out of that tribal kys if you disagree tbh

She was kinda hypocritical there. I didn't realize Jeff asked her a question, I thought she started talking. I'm also pissed that her Brad and Sierra the 3 most irrelevant people of all time are getting winner edits smh. I'm shook

I don't think she's expecting brownie points but just a self realization that despite the way she was raised and her environment, Zeke being trans makes no difference to her. I don't really blame any reaction to Varner last night because of how terrible it was.

Survivor needs to learn that you cant put players like Tony sandra etcc with peasants. Royalty deserved to be treated as such

Jeff asked her a question because when everyone else was realizing that Varner knew he f*cked up and realized what he did she was the only one who wouldn't let it go. I'm not excusing what Varner did but anyone could realize he felt bad for what happened and Sarah kept making her smug faces. Then turns it around about how since she lived in a community that wasn't used to diversity and realizing she'd didn't feel any different towards Zeke....b*tch state the obvious everyone should be treated equal and given and equal chance.
To me it was a way to build a winners edit for her imo but at this point I see Brad taking it. Dudes playing the best game right now don't @ me again. I'm not even a big fan of his but he's playing 20x better than his last season.
What did you all expect? We knew coming in that it would be unlikely for all our favorites to make it far. Granted, I expected some to make merge and not all go out week after week, but like someone said that's what happens when you put top tier players with people that should be on a second chance season. Makes me think they'll somehow f*ck up an all stars season when it happens.
Btw, if there's another heroes vs villains is Varner a lock?

Lol what makes you think Varner will be back? 3 times and didn't even make a jury and Probst looked pissed asf at him during that tribal. I think he's done and I mean he should be, him playing 4 times with his track record is kind of ridiculous. Zeke locked down another season for sure though.

Yeah, I think the way Probst decided to handle tribal shows his opinion on the matter. Based on his performances I couldn't imagine a fourth time anyway, but after this tribal I don't think he'll ever be considered whatsoever.
I'm a little bummed that so far the season's shaping up to what I was expecting. Most of the people that were hyped before the season are getting drunk in pre-jury Ponderosa. I think Ozzy (who I don't care for but I'll admit he's popular) and Cirie are the only really big names remaining. I also think the cast for a season all about being willing to make game changing moves haven't been the most exciting bunch in terms of moves. Most of the excitement of the season has been the twists, the characters and the drama, but in terms of play people have been pretty passive in general.

The original format would have paid off so much better ugh
I'm like fine with the boot order because I know they'll deliver regardless and the less big players will get their chance to shine but it's like something that could have been avoided with a better thought out cast imo and we could have had the best of both worlds.
Also I really hope Zeke doesn't return again. Sorry but what happened aside, he's really annoying and cringe to me.

I'm probably wrong about this but it seems like a slam dunk that Zeke is going to win this season or at least make the Final 2 or 3. After what happened this week, who among the players is going to be willing to write his name down to go home? It would actually make sense to keep him around because it's not like he's a real threat to win all the individual immunities like Ozzy will but it's going to be really hard, from a human standpoint, to vote the guy out. I'm sure he wouldn't want to have a win handed to him because of this but this IS Survivor and a million dollars is a million dollars any way you get it. This is nothing against Zeke and I don't mean to sound cynical but this kind of thing has happened on reality TV before and I won't be surprised if it happens again.
