Our top 5 is almost perfect imo. Riot Act, Bottleneck Stampede, Air Pockets, and Don't Forget About Me are top 5 worthy (and I predicted would make the top 5 before this started).
Dug Out is the only one that I feel like shouldn't have made it this high. But even then, it's #5 leaving the other 4 on top, which is cool I guess.

Not sure why Air Pockets made it this high, but that's just what I think. The mission was cool, but not many people were able to do it. I would have had a completely different Top 5.

#4 BOTTLENECK STAMPEDE (Cutthroat) Total of 59 points, average of 8.42 points, average placement 7, highest points 14 (1st place), lowest points 4 (11th place). This challenge was very simple. Get your entire team through five bottleneck obstacles (tight-fitting passages) the fastest. It starts off with teams deliberating on what their strategy should be and Gray and Red decide to take the simple approach and just try their best to get to the end and only worry about themselves for the most part (aside from some of the men seemingly staying behind to make sure nobody got left behind). Blue, however, being the scrappy team that they were, coming as no surprise considering their leaders were Derrick "The Pitbull" Kosinski, Johnny Bananas and Jenn, decided that they would have Derrick and Ty stay back and attempt to keep one Red girl and one Gray girl back.
This clearly ended up not working as all of the women got ahead and didn't have to deal with being tackled for the most part, while the Gray men got caught with the blue defenders, with the Red team sliding right past the other teams like they did all season. Notable moments would be Big Easy keeping the other two teams from getting into the hay bale bottleneck, acting as a bouncer, Jenn being crazy and screaming at everyone to get off her, and Ty once again screwing up and not being able to get through the tires and then lying on the ground as if he just went through hell.
This challenge was my #1 and I'm a little salty it didn't at least get top 3, but I won't complain too much considering it still got a good placing. In my opinion, the challenges with the simplest formats, and the challenges with a lot of physical interaction are the best typically. This is why Riot Act and this challenge are top 2 from Cutthroat, and in my opinion, the top 2 from this generation. The tackling, the leaping, the squeezing, the yelling was all really fun to watch, and it was cool to see a challenge where the entire team has to be physical together, something later seen in Riot Act. The thing that differentiates the two for me ever so slightly, is that this challenge had a little more originality to it. King of the Hill is something we all know, which isn't really a knock on Riot Act because it was an amazing challenge, but it's what keeps it under Bottleneck Stampede in my book. Best challenge of the season and one of the greatest of all time in my opinion.

#3 DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME (Battle of the Exes II) Total of 72 points, average of 10.28 points, average placement 5, highest points 13 (2nd place), lowest points 4 (11th place).
This challenge was LIT from beginning to end. Like you can not ask for more from a challenge competition wise, drama wise, character development wise, everything.
Don't Let Me Down requires each team to work together to transfer a puzzle key to the top of a mountain where they would put it onto a puzzle board. The men would hold up a 300 lb. hatch with the puzzle key underneath as the women tried to memorize as much as they could. Once the men can no longer hold it open, they must hike up the mountain where the women would then transfer as much as they could and then the process would repeat...for hours and until nightfall for three teams. Wes and Theresa were by far the best team, showing little to no fatigue during the entire challenge and established themselves even further as the team to beat. Jordan and Sarah also impressed, though Sarah did her signature puking spree throughout the race, but still seemed to hold her own, despite Jordan's impatience getting in the way.
Before I get to why the challenge itself was amazing without all the drama that unfolded, I gotta point out the highlights cuz there were soooo many.
- Jordan and Sarah's hikes up the mountain with Jordan getting super frustrated with Sarah and putting a damper on what originally seemed like a tight bond given the circumstances - Leroy and Nia first mixing their puzzle pieces with Jordan and Sarah, and then after that also dropping their bag next to Jay and Jenna's and then causing a double mix up while Jordan and Sarah waited quite a while for Jay and Jenna to finally return, despite probably getting second otherwise - Zach berating Jonna constantly throughout the challenge and the viewer having to bear through the cringeworthy way he treats her that we had already seen during the season, but had gotten much worse in this challenge specifically. The dude even compared her to Lenny from Of Mice and Men...and then the great moment of her being right enough to stay out of the dome even while he was still berating her for her organization skills - Having to go to a sudden death because it was getting dark and realizing they have been out there for so damn long the sun was heading to bed
This challenge as a challenge only was also fantastic. The mini-finals are always great but this one blows the others out of the water in my opinion. I love the idea of having to open the hatch long enough to memorize and then having to hike up the mountain while keeping it all straight in your head. The girls had to rely on the guys to do their part and vice versa and it caused a lot of drama. I had this challenge at third and I'm glad it ended up as third, though out of the three left, I think it should've been 2 tbh.

That awkward moment when Nate gives a GOAT post to honor a top three mission but gets the mission name wrong and confuses it with another name from the same season.

#2 Air Pockets (Battle of the Bloodlines) total of 75 points, average of 10.71 points, average placement 5, highest points 14 (1st place), lowest points 6 (9th place). First season in rankdown to have more than one first place finishes I just want to start this off by saying I'm glad this made the Top 5 and I'm glad that everyone here pretty much together had a general consensus that this deserves to be up there with the best missions of all time. Air Pockets was legitimately the only bright spot of an underwhelming and dissappointing challenge season, Bloodlines. The mission was great because it tested how good of a swimmer one was 15-20 feet underwater and how well they were able to keep their breath while being underwater. A lot of challenge competitors were exposed as they couldn't even swim down to the first checkpoint. The fear of water was real for most, for the exception of Abram, Johnny, Mike, and Jamie. They went on to complete the challenge for their respective teams (Abram and Johnny - red, Mike and Jamie - blue). Being that 2 competitors from each team completed the mission, it came down to time to crown the winner, which was interesting to say the least as a TV viewer and as expected, the two challenge greats came out on top (Abe and Johnny). My favorite thing about this mission was how awesome it looked. The underwater camera shots really made you think "WOW! That looks so sick". I feel like the Challenge creative team really went out of the box with this one, it's something that we had never seen before. The Challenge, especially nowadays tends to have repetitive mission types, a lot of height above water missions, etc. It's like you know what to expect in terms of missions just about every season, but they really threw us for a loop on Bloodlines with this one. Lastly, I also want to mention that, those air pockets 15 feet under water makes you really think did the Challenge just defy the laws of logic and the law of physics? The whole time I was watching Air Pockets, I was wondering how it was even possible that they even created such a thing underwater. It just makes Air Pockets even that more special.

It shouldn't of even been number 1. The concept is good but the players competing didn't make it as good as it should've
