Now listening to swords and scales. Would recommend 100,000000% if you're a fan of podcasts like serial and real crime profile. It's all about true crimes and they are very interesting! Nate

Y'all if you're a fan of serial season 1, check out In the Dark. By far the best crime podcast I've found aside from it. It's about the Jacob Wetterling case, the kid whose body was just found a few weeks ago after being kidnapped like 30 years ago.

Tbh I almost felt like I liked it better than Serial season 1 at times.

I'm on episode 5. Definitely wasn't expecting it to turn into that.

Idk if this is a weird thought but I really like how they took the story and turned it around, especially that they didn't just decide to go with a murder story, because of the success of the first season of Serial. The fact that the second season of Serial basically failed, and it was also pretty different, would prob make most people steer towards something they knew worked. I'm glad they took the risk and it def worked (although did anyone else find it annoying how the host would end a lot of his statements in a tone that made it seem like a question?).

His voice was easily the worst part of the podcast. Idk maybe it's how he actually talks but it def sounded like he was trying to mimic Sarah's way of talking, but it didn't work cuz his voice is just naturally kinda bad for podcasting lmao his voice cracked a lot towards the end of sentences on top of doing the question thing you mentioned I got 2 more chapters left btw

Anyone who listened to S-Town should def listen to Real Crime Profiles analysis of it. Wow...I wasn't a huge fan of John Mclemore anyway but their breakdown of his behaviour made me think of him totally differently.
