I was only able to catch the last like 20 minutes of this episode and holy cow that Tribal Council was great. Easily the best one of the season. I'm kinda glad Shirin is gone because this means we'll definitely see her next season and I feel like she's bouta give one of the best FTC Jury speeches of all time. I kind of really hope Will makes F3 and Hali, Jenn and Shirin destroy him.

I'm very disappointed. The edit just built it up that something was gonna give and with all the blatant sexist and rudeness to Shirin, that just didn't make sense for a storyline for the season. Happy she's gonna be back for season 31, but sad for the overall season.

Just realized Shirin is 100% the Cara Maria of Survivor. Eh Shirin at least has more of a backstory to her and actual depth. Cara is just a victim 24/7 because she lacks confidence and is attention starved while Shirin actually has reasoning/history to be so insecure. It's too bad she let her childhood get to her so much in the game. Basically, Shirin >>>>> Cara Maria

I find them very similar in the way they are constantly attacked because they seem like easy targets and the way they react, though yes Shirin does have better reason to act the way she does. Despite that they are very similar.

After thinking about it, Mike's move last night was probably the best use of the idol at tribal council ever.

Her rivalry with Johnny is completely on her too with how she turned on him and the veterans, just because she wanted to be unique. I sympathize with Shirin a lot more personally and find her to not be as hypocritical as Cara.

Just realized Shirin is 100% the Cara Maria of Survivor. That's just disrespectful and a HUGE insult to Shirin. I think she's had enough of that.

Anyone who has seen this season can agree that they share similarities. It doesn't matter if you like one more than the other or sympathize more with someone. That isn't what decides if people are similar or not.

I wanna know why the f*ck everyone likes Shirin so damn much? Is it because she has played the victim card the entire season or...?

Cara is a whiny b*tch who actively plays victim when in reality she brings most of the sh*t she gets on herself. Shirin is someone who has truly been verbally abused and her hurt wasn't just for show like Cara's is most of the time although I do kinda see her story not being as bad is she makes it out to be..I mean she did admit she had people in her life that love her so she isn't as alone as she clams she is so she could be playing victim too so maybe you are right on some level but it's still kinda an insulting comparison IMO.

At first she was an outcast and then she was able to weave her way into a solid alliance and she showed that she could out-strategize a lot of the people she was playing with. Mike's definitely my favorite for this season, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up winning the damn thing. I would love to see Rodney or Tyler back next season.

There's been plenty of outcasts who have made it into successful alliances over the past 30 seasons...what makes her so special tho?

That she had a rough upbringing and was so happy/excited to be playing. People were way too harsh on her, particularly Will and of course people wanna see the outcast overcome the bullies. Idk how she played the victim tho, Will did personally attack her and you can't even dispute that.

Anyone remember Corinne's verbal tirade against Sugar at the Final Tribal Council of Gabon? You can't dispute that that was a personal attack. I still don't see how that makes her likable at all but you have your opinion and I have mine.
