The all girl alliance rarely works...I don't see why they continue to try and do that.

That's not even a blindside! There was no drama or talking much at tribal to make me think Dan was going home. Kinda dumb for joe not to even try to strategy with who he took. Hope he keeps winning

I just think it's sexist and when it works it ruins the season for me.

That was shaping up to be one of the best episodes ever until the unexciting tribal council with like two questions.
Mike is King and he proved it to any doubters in this episode.
Also I'm liking Shirin more now. She was thoroughly entertaining this episode. Her interaction with Jeff at the challenge was one of the weirdest Survivor moments ever.

Lmao at Hali's complete stupidity to what was going on in the game.
"Wow, it's really really weird seeing yourself when you haven't seen yourself in like the longest time that you've never seen yourself."
Ok.

Whats weird is it is implied that Will isn't with them (saying they need one more to vote out Dan), but Hali was still an overall good player. She's under appreciated as a player/character imo.

I was rooting for her and I don't think she was a good player/character at all. Just because she's cute and she's not going out there making any waves doesn't mean she's a good player.

She got into a strong alliance, knew how to treat people and make outsiders feel welcome and was doing well at going utr (only person to not have her name thrown around on the original No collar tribe). Obviously things went awry at the merge, but she's definitely a good player. She was also a good character with her positivity and strange passions including surfing and the constitution. She reminds me of Jenn from Palau.

Also I feel like the part in bold is such an easy thing to do. I think she even said that in one of her confessionals so its not something that I would say makes someone a good player.

Hm, idk maybe because it's just her genuine personality? A lot of survivors make mistakes to not treat outsiders well: Parvati, Russell, Rob, Rodney (in last night's episode), Missy/Baylor, Kass, the list is very long and it's often a crucial mistake that screws people. I don't think she let whatever happen, happen though. She tried to get white collar with her and even last night pitched to Sierra/Tyler. It likely would work if Tyler didn't already have something going on with Rodney.

Yeah Hali was cute and was the #BabeOfTheSeason but I'm not too saddened about her leaving. I agree with Kenny. She wasn't the best player. She had funny confessionals (albeit nowhere near Jenn level), but that was about it. I wouldn't mind seeing her on the poll for S31, however. I feel like she's smart enough to potentially redeem herself.

I'm liking this season, but I am wondering when it's going to get really good, cuz Probst talked it up a lot and so far I don't really see how it's better than any other great season.

I've been thinking and maybe we somehow get a Shirin win? They have really been focused on how sexist the guys have been all season with Rodney and Dan and the shift in Shirin's edit being sympathetic. I'm gonna predict that when Joe finally loses immunity, Mike is blindsided and that our f3 is Shirin/Will/Rodney where Shirin at least gets the no collar votes.

Hmm I don't know if I see Shirin winning...she is getting a pretty good edit though. Mike is also getting a really good edit but I don't think he'll end up in the finals unless people are really stupid or he wins immunity a lot. There must be some kind of huge power shift at some point in the near future though if it's such a good season. Then again, we all know Probst favors males so would he really think it's an amazing season if the girls took over??

Yeah, but I don't think all the girls are gonna take power or anything like that. I just really don't see a Mike win being this obvious after the last two seasons tricking us with winner edits in Tony and Natalie.
