Viewer's Revenge was a disaster, I don't think MTV will be interested in reviving the series again unless they run out of fresh ideas for new shows.

And, yes, Road Rules fans: He's open to a revival of the franchise. "I would love to bring back Road Rules. Would you please start some kind of campaign?"
this is what Jonathan Murray stated in a interview with glamour magazine..... who wants to start the campaign??!!

I believe last year because the interview was about free agents and they asked him about road rule.

I miss this show. I really hope it returns someday..In it's original form. Not that viewer's revenge nonsense. That was horrible. The Only good thing to come out of that is Dan.

Road Rules would beat any reality tv show in competition.

I always vision Road Rules facing off against contestants of Survivor. That would be pretty epic.

If the first BOTSeasons had had the format of the second one, team RR2 of Timmy, Emily, Effie and Christian would have absolutely dominated the competition.

Timmy and Emily were a disappointing pair though. Yeah they won two missions, but they finished with the lowest overall points out of all of the final teams (even lower than Danny and Kelley). Christian would certainly make up for their shortcomings, don't know about Effie though (she was a lieutenant in the Israeli military but she showed weaknesses in some of the missions on Road Rules, particularly in the Bungee Jump mission). Emily did vastly improve as a competitor on Battle of the Sexes however, but if we're talking at the point of Battle of the Seasons (2002), a Maximum Velocity Tour team of Theo, James, Holly and Msaada would definitely be the strongest.

I just think that the combo of Timmy/Christian is better than Theo/James. Holly is definitely better than Emily and I don't know about Msaada. As for Effie, I only recall her having problems with the bungee mission, otherwise she was fierce and strong in my opinion.

I think Maximum Velocity Tour was the strongest overall Road Rules cast, Theo, Holly and James alone is more athletic ability and skill than any other cast can match. X-Treme would be a close second because of Patrick, Derrick and Jodi.

Christian and Theo would be a great match up, but Theo's athletic and physical abilities overall were far superior to Christians, not to mention Theo was highly skilled as well (though probably not as skilled as Christian). The difference is Timmy and James though, James was a far better overall competitor than Timmy because he was more consistent in missions. As for Effie, she was scared to death of doing the bungee jump mission while Emily did it with ease. Yeah she eventually completed it but her mental toughness comes into question for extreme missions such as that.

Effie had a lot of talk and anger issues, but that doesn't mean she was a fierce competitor. I don't remember her doing anything particularly well on season two. Its the same as Belou, she was a no nonsense type of chick but didn't show anything in the missions on Battle of the Seasons (she was out climbed by Becky in Vertical Limit).

Auto, a Campus Crawl team of Darrell, Shane, Rachel and Kendal is better than Timmy, Christian, Emily and Effie. I see where you're coming from, but you got to take into account Timmy's inconsistency in missions and Effie being unknown as far as competitive abilities.

But Timmy has never been on an individual season like Sexes, he competed on The Inferno which he excelled. I'm sure that had Timmy been on Sexes he would have made it further than James.

Timmy was outperformed overall by Abram (and probably Syrus) on the Inferno from what I remember. He had some strong showings in some missions, but weak showings in others. Timmy was just inconsistent individually, he was a much better team player though (as he showed on the Gauntlet 2 and Inferno 3). If the missions were more team oriented, than season two would definitely be tough (because that's where Timmy is strongest at). And I don't believe for a second that Timmy would make it to the final of a Battle of the Sexes, he was too consistent in missions and would certainly most likely DQ in one of them.

Now you're really making me doubt about it... wish we'd seen MVT. The chemistry of that cast is a mystery. From what I've remember reading Holly and James never got well together (if I'm not incorrect because it was a long time ago).

At the point of Battle of the Seasons Maximum Velocity Tour would be the strongest overall Road Rules cast. Islands and Northern Trail would have very well balanced teams too. Season two would compete with Islands and Northern Trail for second place amongst the Road Rules teams.

I agree, there's no way he's going into a sexes final but I have trouble picturing others like Shane getting further than him.
